I'm in the market for a new bike and the Fury is on the top of my list. I currently have a 99 suzuki intruder 800 it was my first bike and has treated me well but it time to move on to something bigger and louder. My first question is how avalible are these. My local Honda shop has had two in since the release and sold out of both quickly he said they are limited and are hard to get ahold of. My question is how many of each are made and will they ever have a full production of them? I was hoping to get one in oct or early next year but if I have to act fast I guess I'll have no choice.

My next question is has anyone gone from a suzuki intruder to the fury? If so what are you impressions?

Well the limited Edition matte silver with black wheels is only supposed to be a run of 500. You will have to call all the dealers in your area to find one like most of us had too. Good luck.

Check the thread titles "SE #657", and that should clarify the myth about the limited 500 models edition theory.

power seller dealerships usually have several available some one of each color. smaller dealerships are only being given one at a time, call around and i'm sure you can find a dealer nearby that has one or more available. just beware some of the power dealers like to add on rediculous fees. (assembly fee, docking fee, etc..) i would walk away and find a smaller family owned honda dealer, much better service.

if you wait untill october you might actually get an even better deal since the riding season will be coming to an end in the northern states. Also honda is releasing the fury with ABS brakes (which costs 1k more than the standard model, not worth it imo) if that interests you.

call around, if your willing to do a little driving you can find the color you want for a less than msrp price. i've seen them posted for as low as 11,350.

My dealer told me that each dealer was only supposed to get in 2. Some dealers have been able to use their contacts to acquire additional bikes from other dealers. I got on my dealer's waiting list and they called me when it came in.

Thanks guys the dealship I'm went to is close but small and they are a Honda/Suzuki/yamaha dealership with probable explains the lack of knowldge and lack of inventory. There is a true Honda dealership further from me which I'll have to call and take a trip to. I just wanna test ride it more than anything. I'm in the northeast which is why I was hoping to wait till Oct. Thanks again for the info.

You just need to check with a Powerhouse dealer. Our local Powerhouse dealer seems to get as many as they need. I personally know of 7 that they have sold. I've been told that they have actually sold closer to 20.

There's a dealer near me, R&D Honda in Palmerton Pa. They have a matt silver with black rims on the showroom floor for almost a month and they said nobody has really showed interest. J&B Honda in Bloomsburg Pa has a blue one and those guys up there said the same thing, but, that one has been there for over two months!!!

Thanks Rick. I'm not looking for something with a TON of power, I rode a 1200 HD Sportster on a ride a few weeks ago and was happy with the power, but not happy with how I sat on the bike. I felt like I had more room on my Intruder with my highway pegs. I'm 5'9 and 175lbs so I'm not a big guy but I like to stretch out, the Fury looks like it will be real comfortable for the driver, not sure how my wife will be on the back though. The other thing I was wondering about was how this bike is geared? My intruder sounds like its screaming at 75-80pmh when i'm riding on the expressway. I would like a bike with a 6th gear but i'm not going to base my decision on that feature alone. As long as its geared well and I could ride a few 100 miles on the expressway and not have it sound like its gonna blow up i'll be happy.

Dealer in Lufkin, TX has a few sitting on the floor they wished they could sell. Ross Motorsports is the name. (936) 634-6711.

Flat Gray, and Blue one. They may have more in the warehouse they haven't assembled yet.

Don't ever worry about mass produced bikes and wether or not you can buy one...they are tens of thousands for sell. Ebay also has quite a few listed too.

I went to my 2nd dealership in NY and they only had 1 in since release. THey told me they were expecting one more in within a month and that would be the last one of the year. I have a few more places to go but so far, its not looking good.

Joel i'm 5'10 about 175 and the bike fits me perfectly, i couldn't be happier with it. I ride about 15 min. to work everyday on a free way going about 70-75mph to keep up with traffic and it seems like it could use another gear but so far i have no issues with it. still has more the enough roll on throttle in it to get ya up to 90mph with out noticing it if you need to pass anyone in a hurry.

I had a 1200 Sportster and now a black Fury and enjoy the Fury much better. Better handling and more power imo. To be fair to the Sportster I was coming off a 1500 Vulcan and the power between them two was no comparison.
