I don't want to wait untill some pipes come out. Does anyone know if I can just poke out the factory ones. I have helped some friends do it theirs but they where not fuel injected. Someone told me that you can not do this to a fuel injected motor. Is this true?

The vtx1300 exhaust line up right, but the mounting bracket is not there. You would have to fabricate your own or have some one fabricate it for you.
If anyone can garantee that it lines up but just not the bracket I will attempt it and make my own bracket and post pics afterwards on how to do it! This way we can all learn from it instead of waiting for companies to make an exhaust for it!

fury pipes

My mechanic said that the pipes from vtx 1300 would fit. He was not sure about tuning it after you do this, he said they don't have any maps for the fury yet. If you want to try slip ons go to xchoppers.com they have a cool sounding slip on. I put these on my old vtx1300, I thought they sounded great. but I did rejet the carb. hope this helps.....

Because it's fuel injected you should be alright for the exhaust. But if you change the air cleaner and the exhaust then you have to rejet. I was talking with a buddy of mine that's a motorcycle mechanic and that's what he told me. It lines right up than I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna go with Hardkrome Strippers. What do you guys think?

exaust

sounds good. I hope it works. after installing them will you have to get anything tuned or changed because of the fuel injection.
Cobra is coming out with the exahst for the fury in two weeks. I'm waiting for it. I drilled out the baffels on mine and it sounds great but want to get the cobra one when it comes out to be safe. The great thing about cobra is if it isn't enough sound you can drill out the baffels and it sounds even meaner

yeah I crunk my fury up while I had the cans off drilling out the baffles and catalyst and it was way too loud for my taste.I drilled out the baffles and it was still a little too quiet so I pulled the cans back off and removed the catalyst and now it sounds awesome and its got a little more pep.I don`t think I am going to buy an aftermarket pipe since I got the sound I wanted out of the stock ones.

I tried stock VTX 1300C pipes on my fury, all fit but the side panel ran up against the heat shield and its too tight of a fit. The brackets would not mount up and would need to be fabricated. The Fury frame is much longer than the VTX 1300 frame. I drilled my baffles out on my stock Fury pipes and its still too quiet. I am waiting for some aftermarket pipes to be developed, but nothing yet!! :(
