Hi I am interested in buying a Fury, but I have heard from one person that they are not good for tall people. I have not sat on one yet but I would like to soon. I am 6'4" and it is hard for me to find a big bike that isn't to expensive. I was thinking maybe because the fury is sort of like a chopper my legs might stretch out more.

Does anyone know if the Fury is a good choice for me? Thanks!!!

My buddy sat on my bike and said it was perfect for him. Just to let you know, I'm 5'6" and he is 6'6". I don't know how they did it, but the seating position is great for me, and for him...

Also, hopefully Accutronix chimes in, but they will be producing adjustable forward controls for the bike, so if you'd like to stretch out a little more, you'll have that option.

I am 6'4" 265lbs... it's a decent fit for me, but I will be getting some forward controls at roughly 3" in the future for a better fit.

I have a bit more bend in my knees than I like is the only reason I am wanting to extend the pegs/controls. The bars are just right, but I will have to kick my mirrors out a weee bit more than the stock stems will go for a better view, but that's another topic :p

I am 6'4" 275 pds and the seating position feels great to me. Legs could always kick out a couple more inches but for a bike fresh from the showroom fits pretty well.

I'm 6'4" also, 250-260lbs depending on what I ate lately. 32" inseam.

I loved the position of the pegs. my only issue was the pedal and shifter were a bit too big. I'd take about 1/2" off the ends myself... if I ever get one... I wouldn't get forward controls beyond here. (ridden long distance with longer controls and legs can't hack it.) I might get some sort of frame-mounted highway peg though for a stretch-out but I won't lose the existing forward position.

It's not so much the height but the inseam

When i sat on the showroom Fury, the bike has the same inherent problem I had w/ my VTX 1800. ( 6'2" w/ a 36 inseam.) Most bikes are made for shorter inseam guys (though the Yami Strats seem to hav a longer wheel base and better fit).

The Jardine fwrd cntrls w/ Kur mini floorboards helped a great deal but didn't resolve the problem completely. However the factory stretch on the Fury is a little better. If i go the Fury route, v the Raider route, i'll wait 'til Jardine comes out w/ their forward controls and then it probably b mor comfortable fit for taller riders. (Imho.)

I am 6'4" and 280 pounds. I could honestly use a couple extra inches moved forward. But its not uncomfortable just would be more comfortable with those extra inches. I am sure someone will come out with a peg relocation kit.
