I think you would be better off making the fork nuts on a lathe and dropping complete. Are you going to be using an indexer/rotary trunion? What kind of mill? Haas? What kind of material are you going to use? Are you going to get them chrome plated?

I am going to make the fork caps on a lathe with live tooling.That is if it is available when I have the time. Really depends on whats open. Most of our machines are Mori's. I'm going to use 6061 and I'm going to wait to find a chromer until I get a bunch of stuff together. So far all I have on the bike that I made are the driver pegs and grips.
