I guess I am one of those newbies that people seem to love to hate. I couldn't resist this bike. Never rode before but have been looking for a bike for the last 2 years. Saw this bike, sent the dealer the cash and got to pick it up today. Dont get my license through a course for two weeks time. Dying with anticipation.

I live on a private road so yeah I have given it a spin. Besides the issues I think all new riders would have getting used to the controls, it seems like a very well balanced forgiving bike. Wide turn radius takes some getting used to but I am very confident I will be very comfortable with this bike. I'm not a small guy at 6' 230lbs so the weight isn't an issue.
Keep in mind these are very novice observations.

Congrats man. You will love it. And yes it is a very well balanced bike for the rake and tall neck. What color did you get?

Got the Matte Silver. Just finished removing the Honda / Fury decal on the rear fender, reflectors on the rear fender and forks. Also removed the stickers on the swing arm an the Honda logos. Looks very clean and sexy. Tying to get the old lady to let me park it by the bed tonight....not gonna happen.

Welcome, and have some fun. I had not ridden a street bike since 1990, but it all came back very quickly. Most of all be safe!
