No they can not.honda can use the vin to determine the key code and get a new one cut.
mine can do it.No they can not.
They probably do what is done were I work, they record the key numbers on your paperwork/tickler file so IF you loose the key they can look it up and tell you the code.mine can do it.
Then with saying that he should be able to contact seller, find out original dealer then get a new one cut. or ask the seller to pick a couple up and pay him like 40 or 50 bucks for itThey probably do what is done were I work, they record the key numbers on your paperwork/tickler file so IF you loose the key they can look it up and tell you the code.
Would probably be cheaper if the seller would cooperate thoughOn my post #2 about the thread handlebar lock, there was a locksmith who posted they could cut a key. They have special tools to determine pin position and #s.
i use it, but it kinda makes me nervous how cheap it feels... i already snapped off one of the keys inside it. if that happened while i was out and about, it would suck bad... took me some WD40, needle-nose pliers and alot of cursing to get it out...Does anyone even use the handlebar lock, I know I never have, messed with it one time just to make sure things worked but it's so cheaply made you would be better off just buying an aftermarket rotor lock or something else than to try to get that thing to work, that's what I would do if it's was me.
That is pretty funny. If I ever see someone pushing a motorcycle on some skateboards I will be sure to kick the crap out of them.Well I don't use it because it's just about worthless and very cheaply made, if someone wants to steal the bike they are going to steal it, guess that goes for anything though. I have heard of the people that are stealing the bikes in my area using skateboards to steal the bikes, they put the bikes on skateboards and roll them away.
I use the bar lock and the xena alarm/rotor lock and try parking in obvious places. My bike isnt insanely special and my insurance would cover it, but its the principal. My philosophy is deter them asmuch as possible and make it to allow more people to question what is going on's legality.Well I don't use it because it's just about worthless and very cheaply made, if someone wants to steal the bike they are going to steal it, guess that goes for anything though.
