hey guys i 'm riding down the hwy for about 1/2hour pulled to the side to have a but and could not get it in neutral. tried going up gears down gears nothing happening almost like it was stuck. turned the bike off pulled in clutch and still nothing so i turned the key press start nothing not even a cherp, now i'm pissed. so i had my cancer stick and tried to figure out how the hell i'm getting home from the side of the hwy (forgot cell phone at home to boot). after five min tried it again pressed lever in a few times and looked down at the cable to make sure it was moving and the gears started to work again turned key pressed start it started again. i only have about 400km on it and it has been sitting all winter do you guys think there is something wrong with my clutch and why would it not start that was weird or is thing something that has to be broken it a little more to work out the kinks.

Some people have posted this problem after the bike sitting for the winter.

Key off, IN gear push her slightly forward, try restart. Its just something hanging up, some people had same thing.

After sitting in the shop all winter for mods, I had a problem. I rode it home from the shop and when I got home, it would not go into neutral. It would go straight to second gear. I could reach down with my hand and ever so lightly put it into neutral. I rode another 20-25 miles and have not had any trouble since.

No. What poppes in my mind, Richard, Snuffdog. Think clutch hang up from sitting, went away. Was about 2 mos ago. You will have answer by Monday, for sure.

PS OOps, forgot to refresh computer. Yep it is richard that has the hangups, that didn't come out right, did it.

I had this happen to me last weekend at a bike rally. The bad thing, there was quite a few people around my bike admiring it. They all laughed and said it acted like a Harley. I just told them that my bike must have caught a virus from all these Harleys... They all laughed.
