Does anyone have a helmet lock on their fury and if so where at and what kind is it? I've seen what I thought was a helmet lock in pictures on a few furys where it looks like its mounted under the rear fender on the drive shaft side.

thanks

Yeah, on the left-side rear fender, a few inches above the rear footpeg. At least that's where it is on my bike. Never used it though, seein' as I don't own a helmet.
did your bike come with a helmet lock? mine didnt have one on it ... or is it just an accessory?

Thats what im talking about. Mine didn't come with one. Im trying to find out which helmet lock mounts there and/or how to mount any other type in that location

The bikes come with a lock, the dealer has the option of mounting it , if the customer wants it. Check with whoever sold you the bike and see if they still have it, you will need your key to make sure you get the right one, key number is on the back of the (lock) cyl. I have 3 of them sitting in my toolbox if you want one, you would have to carry a separate key for it tho.

If the dealer didn't put it on for you, they should have given it to you. Check everything you came home from the dealer with. It should be there. If not, make the dealer get you one for free.

Ya, my dealer just handed mine to me when I picked up the bike; said he didn't think it looked good, but would put it on if I wanted. I agreed, and left it off.

I use mine all the time... can put 2 full face helmets on it too.. When I go to bike shows, it's also someplace to hold my helmet that doesn't detract from people looking at my bike. Also, when I go to my girl' house and she want to ride the bike, I can carry her helmet on the bike in the helmet holder without having to worry about it looking dumb... Seriously, it's only 3/4 by like 1/2' and you barely notice it...

Don't know how.. seriously, I think it's a good spot for full size helmets, as I said, I can fit 2 full size helmets on that hook.
Wow, all I said was the lock placement sux..
I too am able to lock (2) full size helmets with it..
Just stating the placement...:)
I have a full size Zombie passenger peg next to it, makes for a tight fit is all..

chill RedspawnSilver, before I ride down there and pass nuggies out on your head...:D.. joking...

+1.........
That is a really bad idea. Should never carry one like that.
Okay, how so? Give me examples ... I strap in the helmet straps so they don't catch on the wheels (i.e. attach them like they were on my head), I also pull out my passenger pegs so that the helmet is snug on... not only the helmet holder, but the passenger peg (pulled taut)... unless you are talking paint wise, then there is no harm in this..., as that is a strong helmet holder!... Seriously, it is worth every penny you throw at it. I have thought this through from every angle and have done this more than a dozen times with barely a wiggle from the helmet... I can take pics if you like, but honestly.. besides cosmetics... if you think about it, securing it like it was a piece of the bike will cause no harm, nor will it fall off the bike.
