Thanks Guys I took a paint can lid remover which has a bent end with a ring on the other end. I took a grinder to the bent end and sharpened it to get between the gasket and exhaust port then tapped gently to wedge it in several places and it came out pretty easily. I'm keeping this home made tool for future use. Exhaust sounds great!!!

An Exacto knife

I tried everything: a dental tool, a screwdriver. After struggling for 2 hours, it turned out an Exacto knife worked in about 15 seconds. Just needed to get a good wedge in between the engine and the gasket.
