Went on a great 150 mile ride yesterday with an uncle of mine, and as we pulled into a gas station/rest spot for bikers, there was about 15 Harleys parked there. The only place for me to park was right in the middle of them. As I parked and got off the bike nobody said howdy or anything, not even a nod of the head, go figure! Rested a few minutes and as I was backing my Fury out of the parking spot one of the Harley guys yelled "Hey, nice Fury!!" Believe it or not, that was the first person who actually knew what kind of bike I was riding.

They knew you were riding a Fury but the new hog rule is not to show any sign or jesture that you really are there at all.The guy that yelled out got a smack on the head after you left...

I have had a number of Harley guys ride my bike, and they tell me what a nice ride I have but they would never own one. If it's such a nice ride why?? Their answer...because its a Honda. Interesting huh?

my buddy and his brother call me "BigMetric" instead of BigMetal... they and their dad all have HDs (not to mention all their friends besides me). they only give me a hard time out of fun (ball bustin' is a way of life with us), nobody said anything bad about the bike... although my friend that rode mine when i bought it said his bike is "faster" and that he couldn't hear the pipes at HW speeds... Street Bobs do have bigger engines.
