hey guys i just ordered a HID kit with ballast should be in Monday if anyone else is tired of there piss yellow bulb i ordered mine from HID KITS - Xenon - HID Conversion Kits - Xenon Conversion Kits for around 50 bucks. ill post some pics when i slap in on.

Where are you planning on fitting the ballast. I was looking around and it seems like all the ballasts would be to large to mount anywhere hidden and be in reach with the existing wires.

PUt one on our VTX1300C. Worked great. I actually stuck the ballast between the frame tank. Not sure if I will be able to do the same on the Fury. Just looked at it briefly yesterday. I will go with the slim ballast again.

the motorcycle h4 kit. slim ballast my buddy fit his in his headlight. ill see if i can put it there or extend the wires if i can to the battery box. Motorcycle HID Kits - Home

Let us know how the install goes and what you had to do to make it work. Want to go with an HID kit as well, but didn't see a logical place for the ballast.

If you guys want a cheap replacement bulb that offers a brighter (30% more) and clearer bulb that doesn't melt your harness either. The GE NightHawk bulb. Trust me you guys won't be disappointed. IMO HID ballasts get hot the smaller they are. The Fury is already tightly built so very little room. I wouldn't want something like a ballast melting anything away. Just a suggestion!

Hey Cory, can you post a pic of how the bulb looks?? What color does it put out? Is it noticeably brighter? Thanks

It is a much brighter light. It's a whiter light instead of yellow.

Tried to locate these bulbs on there site and didn't have much luck, in your pic is that the correct part # for the fury application H7-55nh?

The H4 bulb is the one you want. The H4 is the bulb for the Fury!

ya no one on here has posted up anything to my knowledge , so i ordered it, thought i would do a how to. it should come in today or tomorrow, ill be sure to post many pics and a how-to

update!

Ok guys i got my kit in today, ive been pretty busy with work, my brothers moving, and boss hoss rally in town. so i have been messing with the kid, it will work but it is not the slim ballast from the link i posted earlier, they sent me the larger one. and most of yal know there is not a lot of room on the fury as it is....i will try making a how to tom. but it is on my bike looks great the sucker is blue and bright! i have the ballast mounted under tank in a little pocket. if i had the slim one (which i might order) it can tuck in between gas tank and top frame rail nicely. but this one needs to be a 1/2 inch thinner. ill post more pics tom also, tell me what you think. pics don't do justice IT WAS A PLUG AND PLAY but i had to extend the wires just a little bit for my comfort.

What size is the kit?10k or the 12k,I have the 10k and man does it blind the people that are in front of me.Did you order the 2 in 1 bulb,where you have low beam and high beam in one bulb or just the low beam?

i got the 10k, havent rode yet cause of rain here. Its bright tho! its high and low. (you have to have a relay kit for it to be high(blue)) i have not hooked up the relay yet cause of a wad of wiring it comes with so right not my low beam is blue and high is yellow. but i keep it on low it was twice as bright as my factory high.
