Has anyone installed one of these on their Fury's? I've thought about installing one and don't know where to get it from or if they make them for it yet.

Maybe I'm being too critical but how many candle power do you need on a motorcycle?
I can agree with a brighter running light for daytime driving, but some of these HID kits can illuminate a forest.

I changed mine to an off the shelf H4 Sylvania and if I need candle power I hit the high beam switch.

To put a HID ballast that sucks power and generates heat that you have to find a place to install it so it doesn't melt your wiring harness..

I ask why?

I also put in an off the shelf H4 sylvania; I was more than happy with it but then read the threads about the potential wattage issue. I was not aware of this when I bought it and never thought to look for the watts; now not sure if I should go back and check packaging in the store to ensure it's not the higher wattage with risk of burning out wiring. Only had about 20-30 miles on the bike with the new bulb; there were no problems but I'd hate to find out it'll happen sometime on my way home on a dark night.
Need focal lens....

I wouldnt worry about heat as much as I would not WANT A LIGHT CANNON ON THE FRONT of the bike!

Not one upgrade HID kit, comes with a focal lens like in a car. This projects the HID beam in a tighter pattern and cuts down on the THROW of the HID.

I had a crotch rocket coming at me with an HID in both side, it was to bright in the LATE DAY/DUSK!

The next round of HID kit IMO will have this CRUCIAL feature included.

I have a H4 plasma bulb blue/purple, the K listed is 3800k/5000k this is bright.
the HID kit I saw, to get to blue was around 6000k or so 8500k looked sharpest.

One guy on this forum, has put several HID kits on his Hondas, done it with success and said that the ballast will fit inside tank nicely. You need mini ballast to hide it in there.

I watched the videos on their website. They have some big freakin' wire harnesses. It looks like they are made by Tonka! My concern would be being able to run the wires and the ballast to the tank without having to cut or splice anything. Do ballast's generate heat?
Just run with Sylvania's SilverStar Ultra's H4, turn on your brights all hours of the day, and you should be good guys. Run your pipes loud if splitting lanes (1st gear, 20-30 mph) so people can hear you... Put some kind of LED lights on the back that are brighter than stock. Those are the 3 suggestions that I have... /rant You don't know how many people are pulling over to crush me like a bug, see the headlight and swerve back into their lane, then slow down cause they just realized they almost killed a biker... asshats they are... /rantoff

With all the lights I have in the back of my bike, people notice me and sometimes think I'm a cop... which is good and bad, but still... All I have to worry about is my side and frontal view now, again... those Ultra's are bright.
Check Dillionr posts run search...

Look for Dillonr post on this subject he stated that the BALLAST really doesn't get hot only rather warm, yes the harness is large and YOU HAVE TO SEE WHAT MINI_ballast really measure up to HxW. But Dillonr has done this to his old Fury he sold and a VTX 1300!!!
The Fury has a open frame and this fact makes wiring lights rather hard, hard to hide wires and clips ect....

Later all,

IM goin out FOR A BLAST ON THE FURY!!!! 70 and sunny out today!!!
