I must say, I love this look, how difficult of an install is it?
as mechanical installs go, it's 6 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult.
you'll remove the oem cleaner
unclamp two hoses on either side of the oem cleaner and leave them on the bike.
then, with the directions for the adapter and Kury, you'll assemble the parts and re-clamp the two hoses.
REMEMBER: OEM bolts are METRIC
so, use the proper hardware removal tools.
Kuryakin usually supplies SAE hardware.
if they suggest using their bolts, remember to use SAE tools.
the fun part is the lower bracket bolt that has to be removed from the oem cleaner. don't get discouraged. use an electric screwdriver and slowly remove the bolt.
If you use the same bolt to re-install a bracket to the aircleaner, replace it using a METRIC allen head. If Kury supplies that part, carefully check the outside hardware requirement--it will either be SAE or METRIC.
