I know in the wide range of motorcycles, the Fury is not the most commonly bought model. However, since most of the parts are compatible across the entire production line (ABS versions and pre-2012 fuel pumps are exceptions), I would like to see a (centrally located in the USA to expedite shipping) Honda warehouse that has a complete inventory of ALL parts and specialty tools listed in the service/maintenance manual ALWAYS in stock. Our bikes have been in production for almost 12 years. With today's technology, the warehouse should be capable of automatically re-ordering the part(s)/tool(s) as soon as an item is ordered to keep 100% inventory. Multiple amounts of most commonly requested parts/tools should be on hand, too. :geek:

Just venting a potential solution to the frustration of waiting for parts/special tool to arrive. :cautious:

I like your way of thinking.

😠Still waiting on parts from Bike Bandit ordered on 21MAY. On 25MAY I got an email stating one of my parts has been "cross-shipped", meaning it had to be ordered from a further away warehouse but is in route to us; and will ship it to you ASAP. I emailed BB on 2JUN asking for an update on my order and when I could expect delivery. On 9JUN I finally got a reply to my email: Hello, We have received everything in this order except for one RUBBER, FUEL JOINT, would you like to cancel this last part off the order so that we can get the rest of this shipped out to you? (Since I'm troubleshooting a fuel delivery issue, and possibly replacing the fuel pump assy., as a precaution I ordered three (3) of those $1.95 fuel line seals...better safe than a fuel leak) I agreed to them cancelling one of those seals just to get the rest of the parts delivered ASAP. On 10JUN an email confirmed my decision to remove the one fuel joint rubber seal from my order. 😒 Needless to say, I'm not thrilled w/BikeBandits' Customer Support, email response delays, or shipping.

I too had a similar issue with BikeBandit.
I tried to order Honda replacement clutch perch.
Order stated 3 day lead time before shipping so I placed the order.
I called 7 working days later to check on progress. Was told there had been a problem with my order.
Order would now need 3 week lead time. I asked about not receiving any notification and the reply was
I could cancel If I liked. I was pissed. Ordered from Revzilla and received it & a cool set of Revzilla stickers
in 5 days. I just recently ordered my fuel level sensor from Adept power sports.
$15 cheaper than others got it in 9 days

It's clear they don't care. They just lost another dissatisfied customer. I'll spend my money elsewhere and share the reason why.

It's pretty hard to get/keep any sort of employee, even the crappy ones, when the government is paying them to stay home under a rock "for their safety." Most every company I talk to is short-staffed and can't get reasonably competent people to apply, work, and receive an honest wage. In Wisconsin the rate to stay at home is $16.75/hour, meaning if you have a $22/hour job "you're getting paid $5/hour to work" (because taxes are higher on higher wages). [edit to add: So, Bike Bandit and other companies being behind on filling orders is understandable from a staffing perspective. Also note many companies have trouble maintaining inventory given many factories were on government forced shut down and now cannot staff back up due to: 1.) lack of desire for people to go to work, 2.) lack of incentive due to government "stay home" incentives ("free" money).]

Not to mention the skill set coming out of high schools is crap. Almost all (or all, in many cases) of the vocational classes were ended 10+ years ago, kids are illiterate and not able to do math, cannot read an analogue clock or tape measure, cannot understand fractions, and have no "common sense." If they're not d!cking around on their phone they're complaining. Seriously, most are a drain on society.

Worse is trying to find someone who wants to work in a skilled trade, or any other job where they get a little dirty, like building bikes, or even working in a warehouse--which is about all they're qualified for IF they get forklift training & can pass certification AND DRIVE SAFE (because it requires thinking ahead)!

Compared to many countries, in the U.S. we're fortunate we can get parts. In many other countries you make them yourself out of scrap, because it's all you have, all you can afford, and all you know.

What he said...

It's the master plan of the demo rats, do not be self dependent be government dependent.

We took 2 grandkids, 14 and 12 years old, to Panama City Beach and they never looked up from their phones to see it or enjoy it. They live in a make believe world. Really sad...

I think these two things are not really related...unless you are saying politicians made the kids look at the phones? Fuzzy logic

I don't take kids anywhere for the same reason. It's a waste of time and when they are not on their phone they complain about the WiFi or slow data speeds due to bad reception. Not worth the effort.
Back in the early 2000s I worked with a guy who said he never talks to anyone under 30. I laughed with him but acknowledged he was correct. Sadly now it's a waste of time talking to anyone under 50.

Probably not, but I am sure big government relishes the fact that a generation is being indoctrinated by big tech, never willing to get out and see or learn the realities of the real world. Just got to be socialist and get on that government payroll.

There is that word! Gah! Socialism! Must stop it! No social security for us, it is wealth redistribution! I'm not driving on roads. They are made with socialist taxes. No health insurance. Shared risk is inherently socialist.

Actual discussion would be better, but the vast majority of people don't actually understand socialism, communism, democracy, representative democracy, republicanism.
You can be socialist, I can be capitalist. Well I can until your socialist government tells me I can't be anymore. They already tell me I can't have any opinion unless I agree with their's.

The world is headed for a major social change. Everything we thought was normal will not be in 5-10 years. With people like Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Shumer, Andy Quomo, and so many others doing whatever is necessary to hang onto power the things they’re doing now will absolutely be exploited by the crop of socialist assholes! Good luck and arm yourselves.
