I have the windscreen on my bike. It was on it when I bought my bike. I am a fairly tall guy -- 6'4 -- and I can say it doesn't do much for me. The only place I don't feel the wind is if I put my hand above the tank when I am riding. I am most likely going to take it off in the Spring but left it on for the colder weather here in Ohio. I figure anything that will block some wind was worth it.

I might take the screen off and smoke it to make it look a little better because you have to do a double take to actually see it since it's clear.

Hope this helps...

I added the boulevard screen after riding for a little over a week amidst all of the cornfields here in IL, and I really like it a lot. Because of how low ya sit, it does a pretty good job of pushing those bugs above my face. As a matter of fact, I had to start wearing a bandana to help keep those big, heavy june bugs from crackin me too hard on the top of my forehead. They seem to be the only ones that the air current cant seem to push over my head.

Of course, I'm 5'10"-5'11", so the extra 5"-6" of height would make a big difference.

I would bet from looking at the new 1300 interstate that the windscreen they are using on it would fit the Fury.

Ahhh, choppers aren't supposed to have windscreens. They are made for cruisers. Just my honest opinion.
Little something for everybody... especially for us daily riders that have to deal with the cold and rain, every little bit helps. So long as it's removable of course :p

Windscreen

What !! Actually this is made for the fury . Just a fact . I like it so mutch I made a custom screen to accomidate the 3" risers
I know the windscreen was made for your Fury, I was just stating my opinion that windscreens don't go well with choppers, there supposed to look clean. Windscreens and Bolton running lights, etc. are actually for cruisers. Picture a West Coast chopper with a windscreen and sattlebags, kinda changes it to a cruiser. This is just my opinion and every person is welcome to put what they want on there bike.

Glass window tint will not work , spray on tint Im not a fan . Only options I no are paint, or new screen the color you want , you have to cut . One more , buy a aftermarket modify as needed.

Thanks guys. I do like it with out the screen but for the long rides or highways I think it will help alot. I have always noticed a huge difference on all my other bikes when I added a windscreen but just cant find one I like for this bike.

I absolutely have to agree. I think windscreens make any bike look like crap, even the cruisers. If you want a windscreen drive a car or a truck. I don't even like wearing a helmet, but when the bugs are thick, I wear a full face helmet so who needs a windscreen? IMO if you wanted a bike with a windscreen to take long trips, and carry a bunch of stuff with you, then you probably shouldn't have bought the Fury. That's what the touring bikes are for. If I can get a taller sissy bar for my Fury, I'll be able to carry anything I need without saddle bags.

I think you all have missed my question and what im looking for. I do agree a chopper should be clean and sleek, although i do have several bikes 2 cruisers a custom and the Fury. The Fury is by far my favorite, and have put over 3500 ml. on it since Sep. Im looking to get the wind off my chest thats all.
By the way I dont own a car or truck, the bikes are the only rides i need!!!

You must be a true biker. Does it not even ever rain or get cold where you live? I'm not the biker that you are. I gotta' have my truck.
