How many European members and abs brakes.

Hi,
How many European members are we right now and where are you from?
Do you have ABS brakes or not?
In Sweden we can't get the Fury without ABS this year. ABS brakes are great, but I think it looks like a "last minute work" on the Fury... The lines don't go the normal way under the trees, it comes out from the frame and looks crazy... This is the first thing I will try to modify on my bike to look better.
Is it just me who thinks like this about the lines or...?

Hi, Nick from Edinburgh calling. :) None of our models have ABS, not yet. Also, we have two colours Black and Metallic Blue Wave... I went for Blue.

Currently buying kit from USA... parts in UK rediculously expensive... for example backrest and pad in USA is US$200... in UK US$530, pricing might be a mistake so I'm waiting for Honda to confirm. and there is only the Honda official part available... maybe there's room for more designs.
I've got a black abs version here in the Netherlands.

Hello everybody from Moscow!
I've ordered Blue VT1300CXA and it will be in the first delivery of 2010. Dealer told me that bike will come on the last week of March. We have only ABS versions what I like. Price for the bike is $20000. 2010 quote for Russia is ~50 bikes but some will order them directly in States and import by their-self's, specially those who likes other colors then Black or Blue. But much more interesting is price for the accessories. For example- original Honda spoiler is $830..... even dealer told me they hope it is Honda's mistake))
I've already ordered Kuryakyn chrome kit for ... $350((((( and Kuryakyn clear turn signals. I had to do it as need at least some pieces of customizing)))) What is next? Want to get Cobra Swept but this time there is another problem not price;-) ($745 only). Warranty! In case I install aftermarket exhaust no one can guaranty that my bike and engine specific will be under Honda warranty. Each case will be a subject of a discussion for the factory warranty. Only I can still have is dealer warranty what links me with all service questions/issues to one dealer and I do not really like such situation. Still haven't decided what to do...))))

Hi Mattias,
I live on the island of Jersey in the channel islands, the only model here is the non ABS.
Only blue or black were on offer.I have a blue one.
holy crap Moscow! Man this forum is all over the place, nice to see other countries on here talking about the Fury and what they think about it and what they are doing to customize their bikes. Man it's crazy on the prices they are having to pay for the aftermarket parts, and I thought we were paying a lot.

Hi to Moscov,
If you read the parts magazine march 2010 (cobra fury on the front side). You can read inside in the story that Honda have orded and bought back a customized fury from Cobra to use in their roadshows. In other terms, they have violated their own terms of modifications. Got the article from republic cycle in dallas texas. Have already forwarded it to the local norwegian dealer. Can mail you the article if you want to have it.

Think my exhaust mods will be done in Sweden, after Mattias in MTL custom have done his mods on the fury. But thats a 2011 project.

I don't know how it is there but here dealers are happy to do warranty work that Mother Honda pays for even if at a lower rate than retail. If there is a hint of a problem just save the old stuff and put it back on after the motor burns up and drag the "stock" bike into the dealer. My stock stuff is taped, bagged, tagged and stored for just such an eventuallity.
Hi
Toddekarr from Sweden..,
Still waiting for a black ABS, and I agree with Lindkvist0405 have Honda mounted ABS'n on a coffeebreak??! it is probably one of the first things I'll try to change.
