If some one made a 6spd trans kit, thats changed the ratios of the factory 5spd. and adds an even more of an overdrive top gear of .5:1 would you consider buying it and doing the major over haul of pulling the engine and splitting the bottom end apart to swap everything out. I was thinking since i got a spare fury engine sitting here that im getting ready to pull apart, to start working on my 1800cc short stroke big bore project. and i got talking with my machine shop buddy, and we got talking about coming up with a 6spd trans... we would completely look into redoing all the ratios, no stock ratios to be used. just an idea.

It would depend on the cost but I would consider it. I think that the Fury could really use a 6th gear.

I'm happy with the five speed. Got tired of shifting so many times with my old six speed.

Actually wish it had come with a 6 speed instead of the 5, but not sure it would be worth all the labor to change it out now, but I'm mechanically challenged! LOL! For those that can do their own work...maybe!
