i'm wanting to buy an irate grill. I like the stainless for durability (no chrome chipping or rust) Looking at the stock grill on my bike, I can see that it takes quite a blow from road crap thrown by front tire.... My question is: does anyone have an irate grill in stainless? If you do, how does the stainless blend in to the rest of the chrome on the bike? Is it pretty close or an obvious difference?

Either way I think you’ll be happy. I have a number of polished parts on my bike and they blend right in. If you’re worried about chipping, you could always order the L&M front fender that is a lot lower and should cut down on debris hitting it. Looks like the fender will be one of my next mods. Ohh Crap, just cant stop.

They better hurry with that damn fender, I'm about to paint (within the next week or two)... and they'll lose my business if I paint my stock fender first... Sooo, hurry L&M...

Mine is the chrome and I have no complaints yet, I have rode about 500 miles this year so far in our limited weather.

#200 and #300 stainless will polish out to mirror finish, # 400 not so much, however very hard to cut, stamp and manufacture , $$$$

I recently ordered and just installed the Irate stainless steel tribal flame. Nice addition, blends well with the existing chrome.
