The only differences that I know of between any of the years model is possibly the starter and the configuration that the fuel filter was in the pump (somwhere in 2012 it changed from horizontal to vertical, there is a kit available to "upgrade"/swap to the new version). Other than that, the only other thing that is different is the color schemes.
Thanks crash I had a 2013 model but the 2010 looks killer with all the chrome and silver parts engine case nice not black

Yeah, I have a 2011 model which was originally the Pearl White w/ black frame, but I blacked everything out (not the engine cases though). Really the only reason I would want a newer model for would be the black engine case and OEM black covers, but I took care of the covers on my bike and just left the engine case alone.

Earlier years came OEM with passenger seat and pegs as well, I know they don't do that on the newer models.

Yeah I can’t believe the fury basically stayed the same from 2010 guess Honda reall made it right from the beginning huh I would think that through the years they would have improved on something .. a 2020 model has got to ride better than a 2010 I would think

Nope haha it will ride exactly the same! The engine is basically a carbon copy of the VTX which has been a proven engine so there was nothing to modify. I believe one of the only differences is how the air filter interfaces and the TB setup. Which is why it takes some minimal modification to make the VTX intakes work on a Fury.

With a solid engine, frame, and components used from their other lines of bikes that have been proven, at that point it was all aesthetics. Really there hasn't been anything I'd want to see change from factory of the look of the bike, except maybe LED light options to make it a bit simpler to swap over, but really all it takes is some wiring and a relay flasher.
For the bike to ride better it would take some custom tuning which would drive the price of the bike up with tooling costs and suspension internals.

Vehicle companies basically engineer a 5 year lifespan into the vehicle to force people to "upgrade" when things start to fail that they don't want to deal with. That isn't exactly the business model of Honda ( or other bike mfg's) where motorcycles aren't their bread and butter. It's another division that they don't really "rely" on to keep afloat but it brings in revenue. So it's in their best interested to build a trouble-free bike that doesn't need to come into the shop all the time for repairs/upgrades.

As a long time owner and rider of 2013 fury...I will say, it is a solid platform. As stated sad to say very few options nor upgrades over the years. I've done fuel pickup mod myself...the upgrade everyone has wished for was big 1800 engine, and at least one more gear. However no complaints would be listed if they added a fuel gauge.

i was gonna say handlebar further away.. I am 6'3 and it felt like i was handcuffed with the handlebars that came on it. any of the turn signal cancel is a good 1 i move the speedo... i like the idea of the fuel guage and maybe a tach. I had the ECU GUHL'D would like to see a tach.

I hear ya loud and clear. I'm 6'3" and have the same issue. I am currently in the process of making a new set of bars, an 1" higher and 2" further away.
