All of my parts FINALLY came in to the dealer.
Here is a list of what he is putting on and the total cost to do it.
My question is to you mechanically inclined, or to the riders who have paid to have it done. Does this sound like alot of money or no?

Black Cobra swept.
Barons big air kit (comet)
Accutronix 3in extended diamond forward controls.
Cobra fuel processor. (Said it was the cheapest)
Removing rear pegs. (for now)

TOTAL COST= $445 for labor. Removing the old and putting on the new.
I thought it was a good price but I wanted to hear from the people who know.
And that would be you.

He says they need to bleed the brakes because of the controls.

Looks like 3 ½ to 4 hours of labor to me. If the shop knows what they’re doing and does quality work I usually don’t question the bill and just pay it. Sure beats getting your bike back with an exhaust leak, a screwed up Fi2000 and a couple of scratches and nicks. Also, you have to consider your time to take it back to the shop to fix what they didn’t do right the first time.

That's funnyI actually turned my parts guy on to the forum.I would call him about parts I had seen on here and he'd always tell me that he doesn't have them in his catalog,so now he use's the forum to get ahold of parts suppliers so he can offer more products.

Your parts guy is not the only one who gets pissed off with this forum. You can add Honda Australia and just about any Honda dealer. Mostly because they give us two stories 1) That part is not available, no one makes it. Then I say it's on the forum and 2) That will cost you $1500 but then I say are you sure it is US $ 600 convert it to AU $ 660 add post say $50 - 100 so that makes it about AU $750. So then how do you get double the price?

They hate being exposed as the rip off artists that they are.
