We sure hear a lot about when things go bad on a deal... fortunately for me, this is a time where I get to report something good. I built a custom VTX and wanted to put Fury mirrors on it. I sent an email to several guys on this forum to find out if they had their stock mirrors available. All of the responses were very kind, but Jimmy took being nice to the next level. He offered them to me for free if I paid for postage, then he proceeded to send them to me directly before he got a penny from me. This kind of thing has never happened to me and I was blown away knowing that there were people like JimmyFarris out there.

Don't be asking Jimmy for free stuff, but he sure deserves an "attaboy" for being such a great guy. They arrived today in perfect condition and look great on my bike.

FYI: my brother (the one buying a Fury soon) has worked as a parts manager in a Honda shop for over 20 years, and he advised me to always opt for stock mirrors since after market mirrors often incur problems. With his advice, I looked at various bikes and thought the Fury mirrors were the best stock Honda mirrors I could find, and they mounted and look great on my bike.

Clueless sent me a break leaver. He didn’t charge me for the leaver or the shipping. There really are still allot of good people in this world. And this forum is filled with them. Thanks once again Clueless.

Thanks for the kind words.....without going into a bunch of jargon about how we should all treat each other. . . . . . I REALLY do believe what goes around, eventually comes around.

About a year ago, I picked up a pretty desperate looking guy 3 miles from my house who had run out of gas in a very, very old pickup truck. He had a gas can but no money. He only need a gallon or so to get where he was going. We got his truck started and I said follow me to the gas station. I think I put in 15 or 20 bucks worth of gas. We shook hands and I simply suggested that sometime in his life, return the favor if he's able.......he just looked blankly at me and said, OK. What's that movie? Pay it Forward???? Oh Well.....enough of that.....This IS a wonderful forum with a lot of good people involved.....Enjoy the mirrors.

I wasn't expecting anything for helping out and 460 sent me a gift as well. My hats off to all on here who help others - with whatever it may be - info, advice, stuff, etc....!!!
