Hi Everyone,

I do apologize I have not been around. Heck, I barely even ride my Fury anymore.
I have been procrastinating about selling the set that I got from Ken last Spring. After long time debating, I realized, it'd be best to just sell it instead.
So, Ken's awesome Air Ride set is in the same exact condition I received them, unused since they were parted from his bike.
If I am not mistaken I paid $750 plus shipping or including shipping (I am suffering from CRS).
Either way, I am selling them $750 incl. shipping to anywhere in the Continental US.

Second item is STG Black Outs (comes with removable baffles). Paid $535, used about a year (~1500 miles). Still in great condition.
Selling for $250 shipped.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or desire to buy either item, as I should be around a few times a week to check.

Thank you all,
Matt / TurcoLoco

:bump:

Still got the air ride if anyone else is interested, please send a PM with an offer!
I will also include Ken's written instructions which he really dumbed down (for me).

Since I am pretty certain I will not have time from working on the project bike to actually mess with installing the Air Ride, I am definitely more flexible on the price.
I am also trying to clear up room in the garage where space is already very limited.

If I am going to give this kit away cheap, I much rather give it to a fellow Fury owner than some local stranger who buys it off of CL.
So, if anyone is interested, please do PM me with your offer!

I wish I could buy it from you, but I'm sure you'd not like what I could afford to pay even if you are willing to give it up for cheap. I wouldn't want to insult you with my offer.
No, Goat, you would not insult me, even if you did make fun of my Fury like the jealous Harley guys I hang out with!

I didn't want to disclose it but I knew I might not even install the air ride but Ken needed the sell it and I really like him so I wanted to help him out. I would even ship it back to him for half the money if I knew he got another Fury and started riding again. It is hardly ever about money when it comes to members of a community/group I am a member of.

Ken, along with a few others here had helped me many times, sold me stuff or worked on my mods for the cost of mere shipping.
Ken still comes here and helps out even though he is no longer riding, how cool is that?

Anyhow, make an offer, what is the worst I could say?

Yup, Ken helped me understand the air ride system and a bunch of other stuff--he's a great guy.

Having been part of Marilyn this air-ride system is a part of history. Ken is actually known outside of our Fury circle: I was at a party a few weeks back and brought up his name in context of the work he'd done and a Harley gal knew exactly whom I was speaking of. Ken isn't from around these parts, that's how well he's known, although he's so humble you'd never know it by speaking with him.

Awweeee shucks.... you guys are gonna make me :crying:

I just try to help out where I can. I'm nothing special just a normal guy whom God has blessed more than I deserve.

I am proud to be a part of this forum and the brotherhood and fellowship that goes along with it. This is truly a one of a kind community with a vast wealth of knowledge.

I hope to one day have another Fury if I am able to get back in the saddle, only time will tell.

I hope to be able to contribute more now that I have my new phone, which once again makes the forum bearable for me. Evidently the @Administrator s could never get the tech guys to figure out that it was an issue with the older android firmware.

Anyway, thank you to all of you guys who speak so highly of me, it is truly appreciated.

Ok, let me see exactly what I can actually afford and I'll send you a PM. We're supposed to be getting a bonus here at work, but I'm not sure when, so it may be a week or two......or three....????..... If you haven't sold it be then, I will make you an offer, but I can guarantee you that it won't be anywhere near the $750.00. I'm not saying it isn't worth that much. I'm just being honest on what I can offer right now. My "fortune" took a pretty big hit when my fridge unexpectedly went to shit right after I had just bought a shotgun, but hey, a man needs a shotgun.

At the very least, every man should own a truck and a shotgun. City boys may not understand that philosophy. Can't fault the poor fella's for that if they were born and raised in the city. They don't know any better. Of course I'm pretty spoiled, so along with my truck and shotgun, I think I need a refrigerator too. Sure is nice not to have to hunt for food every day.

You forgot the shovel and an alibi!

Oh wait, what were we talking about again?

No worries goat. I never valued money, it is just a means to get essential stuff. Between friends/family, I couldn't care less about selling something for much less than what I paid for. When I bought it, I really couldn't ascertain its value nor did I care. It was an excuse for a project that sounded cool. I knew I might never gotten around to it but I looked at it as a donation to a fellow rider who needed the financial support.
You may have heard me b.tch about a certain vendor or purchase fees/charges but it I assure you it is never about money, it is about doing honest business. I just had such an altercation with the shop that completed my 600-miles service on another bike where they give you an attractive figure for the service cost but fine print the part "All fluids are extra" and calmly change the initial estimate of $225 to $359 when the work is done.
That type of bait-n-switch gets to me in a big way. I hate dishonesty in a business transaction, hidden charges or surprise fees getting added at the end without my knowledge or consent. I will b.tch about a mere $20 charge like that but I have no problem seemingly losing couple of hundred on an item I bought, didn't use and turn around and sell it to a fellow rider, a friend or sibling. I really do not value the money the way most people do.

Besides, instead of spending $100-$200 I usually do on local charity rides, and donating money to St. Jude's Hospital or American Heart Association, I decided to spend a bit more on Ken that year.
No regrets!

Honest!

I might have been more inclined to work on this if Bill had not done such an awesome job circumcising the spring coil where it still provided a comfy ride but lowered the rear quite a bit.
Plus, my project bike that I have been neglecting for far too long will consume all my spare time.

If you or anyone else here that wants it and will actually install and enjoy it, then it is not a loss to me. That would actually make me happy to know someone is enjoying it instead of keeping it in a box like I have been doing. I am sure Ken would like that too.

Anyhow, enough sappy talk. Please do let me know when you or anyone else is ready by shooting me a PM and I am sure we can work out the details.

Cheers,
Matt

Well shoot, now I kinda' feel guilty for what I was going to offer you, so I may be offering you a thousand dollars for it.

Please note that all offers in a post are pure bullshit and the actual PM offer will more than likely be a fraction of the post offer. Goat is not responsible if you take anything he offers seriously. You will be held completely responsible for any dealings with Goat. Goat will not be held liable in any transaction no matter the outcome.

Ha-hah, I am sorry for the unintentional guilt trip!
Nah, don't want a thousand dollars, way too much but, if you have a single daughter....oh wait, weren't we talking about every guy needing to own a truck, shotgun and a shovel?

Never mind....
