Anyone figure out how to clean up the kick stand without replacing it with chrome or new. thought I saw a thread about buffing it out but couldn't find it.

Clueless,
Can you post the pix from your avatar online? Your bike looks great, exactly what I've been wanting to do to mine. I've been searching the gallery etc... to see (that pix) of your bike with the sissy bar, no pad and I think you have a custom seat on as well... It looks fantastic I would like to see a larger photo if possible!

Thanks I think I'll try the polishing on the kickstand, just can't take the raw metal look

Clueless Thanks for the kick stand polish link, finally got around to it (winter) turned out so much better than stock, about an hour of so sanding and polishing. Highly recommend doing during the winter. Makes the stand look like chrome, by the way a power sander works just fine, dont need to hand sand
