IMO they are alot better, not quite as long as the stockers but the grooves on the levers match your finger position perfectly.
Your not the only one that had that problem, stripped mine out, pissed me off...

and i thought i was the only person who thought this. I had to run one of the screws/bolts backwards from the inside out to correct the problem. I must have sat there for the better part of an hour trying to get that little screw started.

Now get ready for the real fun. That tube that holds both sides onto the bike, yeah those little bolts rust like a MoFo after your first wash. Have fun chasing the rust trails from the stamped steel bolts.

Thats what i ended up having to do,think i might run down to the hardware store tomorrow and see if i can find some stainless bolts,or i might undo them and paint the heads black, thanks for the heads up on the rusting though.

Is it all the bolts or just certain ones that will rust? Why not match up the threads at a hardware store and get some that wont rust.

Honestly, cause im too damn lazy. I want to ride like this ...:D rather then fight to get those damn little bolts back in. Its one of those things that i will do when im bored off my ass, and have nothing better to do with my time. I dont want to take away from the fun of owning the Fury just yet.

I have 4 spots that show rust already on the bike. The bolt that holds the Cobra luggage rack on the back. The little bolts on either side of the Kury engine dress up kit. And the adjustment screw for the clutch at the top the left hand grip.

I understand only wanting to do it once, that's why I was asking.
Everyone has had problems with the lower bolt stripping due to the angle of the nut on the right lower piece.
Also that material that bolt is made of is very weak.
Mine broke off and I left it that way and used double sided sticky tap on the back to prevent rattling..

I installed mine yesterday and the same thing happened. I drilled it out and just put a new bolt and nut on it.
Just installed my engine kit. Wish I had read this first. Took forever to get that one little bolt in where the welded nut is misaligned. Ran the bolt threw the back side over and over. And the directions for installing the bar between the two side pieces through the V. Must be a two person job. I bolted the one on the left side before I installed it and got lucky threading on the right side. Now I read that all those bolts will rust and I have to do it again?

I do have to admit that it really makes that part of the engine look much better. But what a pain for such simple things and how can Kury give you bolts that rust? Maybe you get what you pay for, but they are the only game in town.
Sucks that you didnt see this sooner. The rod that runs between the cylinders wasn't too bad.

Gotta chase that thread with a tap first. That's the most important thing..
Im glad I read this thread, I am about to pick up some covers. Thanks

I thought I must have stuffed up. .... but.... it looks like everyone has had the same problem!
