This past Wednesday, I took my son to Walmart to buy a new bike. I went out in the garage this morning and saw some screwdrivers and tools laying on the floor next to a pile of reflectors, emblem stickers & misc. parts he stripped off. I got a real chuckle out of that one. They really do pay attention to what were doing! :)

Yesterday evening while washing the fury. my 4 year old son rides his bike up and tells me that he needs pipes for his bike. I knew i had been telling my wife that i want a pair real bad but never even thought he was paying attention. Hopefully i can get some OT soon so i can get some and quit talking about them.

That's great. 6-7 years ago when I bought new pipes for my shadow, my oldest son then needed pipes on his bike. We started with those big cardboard rolls from wrapping paper, and then we covered them with aluminum foil. They didn’t hold up so well so I went to the hardware store and bought the foam insulation you put around water pipes to keep them warm. Then wrapped them in aluminum foil. Much nicer and they were flexible so you could get just the right bends. We topped it off with a handle grip toy that you can rev up and it sounds like a motorcycle. (Walmart)

Ahhh.... the wonderful sounds of adults having intelligent spirited exchanges rather then the puerile rants of a 30+ year old child.
Thanks Stew... :)
