Doing my first valve adj (mine, not the bikes) it is a 2010 and has 28,000 km.
Valves are close to spec, intake a little tight, exhaust a little loose.
But there seems to be some play side to side in the rockers.
Is this normal, do they tighten up with oil pressure, or are there other issues?

I’m no expert, so take my advice with a grain of salt. But I, too, did my first valve adjustment about a week ago (mine, not the bikes, which is also a 2010). The shop manual says the rocker arms should wiggle a little bit when you have the crankshaft turned to the correct stroke at top dead center. If you have the FT or the RT lined up (depending on which cylinder you are doing) and the rocker arms don’t budge, then you have it on the incorrect stroke, and need to turn the crankshaft another turn, line it up again, and then they should wiggle just a bit. This is how you know you are on the correct stroke to perform the adjustment. I assume this is what you are talking about when you say they move a little? So to sum up: wiggle = good (correct stroke to perform adjustment), no wiggle = bad (do not/cannot perform adjustment). Hope this helps.
