has anyone tested how far they can go once the low gas light comes on?
Unless you have a friend following you with a gas can -- why push your luck?has anyone tested how far they can go once the low gas light comes on?![]()
...you could do the math: # of gal to fill up when the light comes on subtracted from 3.4 gal. Apply your gas mileage for that tank to the calculated gal remaining and...has anyone tested how far they can go once the low gas light comes on?![]()
Did the low fuel light come on and did you notice the mileage when it did?I pushed my bike to 150 and I filled up with 2.9 Gallons.
Yeah, it came on around 130 milesDid the low fuel light come on and did you notice the mileage when it did?
Same here as of my last 7-10 or so tanks. My first few tanks I got around 110 before the light came on. Guess I have gotten a lil' heavy on the throttle or something *shrugs*So far it seems when my gas light comes on i've gone about 90mi. +/- and I'm putting in right around 2gal. when I stop to fill up.
Yeah, me too! First two tanks lit the light right around the 90 mile mark, and took 2.6 gallons to refill.Damn! Y'all are getting quite a bit better mileage than I am. Hope its just a "break-in" thing.
Check at service interval , maybe valve adjustment needed , also when I switched to Royal Purple max cycle oil it quietened my engine noise quite a bit .Yea mine just hit 140 miles on the bike itself and my light just came on yesterday after riding 88miles HOPEFULLY after I break it in the mpg will improve! Also just started noticing a small ticking noise while I give it throttle :/
