That thing looks *beautiful* - classic hardtail lines from the early chopper days, but you ask any of the guys spent the better part of the 60's and 70's on a hardtail how their back's doing these days and you're not gonna hear anything good. I mean, with that hardtail frame passing every bump, jolt, shimmy, and vibration up thru the frame, there's only one compressible, flexible, non-rigid shock assembly left on the bike, something doctor's euphemistically refer to as a 'spinal column' lol - well, there's a reason you don't see a lot of true hardtails on the road these days.
Nothing will give you those beautiful pure hardtail lines other than, well, a hardtail, but you can get so damn close with a good airshock like l&m's that just sayin' for me anyways the extra $$ for the shock is more than offset by decreased future medical bills ...
