the lines, the look of it is what I am talking about not the color or shininess of it....these guys need a better designer ....when it is chrome it will just look like TV dinner foil ...just get some aluminum foil and make one yourself it will look just as good ...know what I mean ..and sticking that 240 tire on there is just plain stupid.... it does not look good...I love the fury but I am not gonna let my love for the bike cloud my judgment ..that intake cover is ugly and Im wondering if those pipes will burn your legs off when riding...also those cone air cleaners are dumb too..they always look like they belong on a Xmas tree not a motorcycle...blunt ended looks much better...I am sure companies will do better in the future god knows the bike deserves it...what I have seen so for from companies leaves a lot to be desired....now this all my own opinion so dont flame me if you think this looks awesome...we have the right to our own opinions ...even though my opinion is the law.....muhahahaahaaaaa! j/k

I have nothing against low and mean I just think they could do better in terms of the design of the products they produce...and that 240 tire in that wittle bitty rim is a disaster waiting to happen

R,
Can you tell its a 240 by the trade pattern? How do you know its a 240? Just wondering. I removed my tail light and installed RAW led and the plate to the side. The tire looks kind of skinny with out the light and plate...

yeah its a 240 low and mean has a video on youtube.....

YouTube - Honda Fury with the 240 Rear tire

my bud put a bigger then recommended tire on his 2006 cbr rr and blew it...dumped it hard and crushed his pelvic bone...screwed him up pretty bad...not only is it unsafe but it doesnt look all that good either ..plus you only gain like a half inch of width..so whats the point ...its just best to wait and see what kinda meaty tire/rim kits come out for the fury.. like they say patience is a virtue...hell I have to wait like 10 more months till I get back to the states so to even buy a fury....

its funny they disabled the comments on that video guess they didnt want anybody stating what a bad idea it is

You over in the sand box? If so, watch your six.

I would like to know what happens when you get caught out in the rain with this air filter, does it get soaked and suck water into the engine.I know most people don`t ride in the rain but if you ride long enough it`s gonna happen so what kinda damage with the water do to the engine and components.I know if you get too much water in the cylinder you can bend the rod.I think the air filter looks good except for the adapter part but how practical is it for people who ride their bike alot and occasionally get rained on.

yeah something else has to be done with that cover. its just missing something also the pipes come up too high, covers the side cover. the bike creates a lot of heat as it is, putting the pipes that much closer to you maybe uncomfortable. Just my opinion.

I was wondering the same thing.

How do you know that is a 240? They did not say it was unless it is in another thread I missed. Anyway, I like the spike intake. Pipes are not my style (just because I like longer pipes) but I am sure plenty will love them. The adapter is is a great product. Much better than looking at all the mess behind it. The bike looks great. Keep it up Low and Mean! I can't wait for the air shocks!

I have to agree about the intake adapter. It looks like CRAP! It doesn't matter what color its available in, it does not go with the overall look of the bike or shape of the engine.

It would look much better if it didn't have that triangular shape on the top that goes all the way up under the frame.

Just curious as to when the parts you are designing, fabricating, and selling are going to hit the market. While we realize that not everyone will like everything that comes out for the Fury the one thing that we ALL have in common is that we like the Fury. IMO, I don't feel it's necessary to try and run someons product into the ground, especially when you have nothing that you have that can compete with it. You don't see LM and RAW on here bad mouthing each other so why do people feel it's OK as a consumer to degrade someones product, obviously just MY opinion. With that said, RAW, LM, S&S, and whoever else is continuing to try and give us Fury owners options to personalize and customize our Fury's the way we so choose, THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication to this great bike.

You know it's one thing so say your not liking it, but to go into saying all the other crap is not necessary. You clearly have your opinion (without even seeing a Honda Fury in person) that's fine, but don't be bring down this forum with your remarks. There's a lot of good people here, they all have their opinions but they know better then to bash. Worse thing that can happen on any forum is to read alot of negative comments. For the future, please keep this in mind. We appreciate your view, but don't need you to tell us we need another designer, and so on.
By the way, yes your right that is the 240 on the Fury, and we have done some extensive testing with this tire with very good handling results, as well we have been running 210 tires on our Mean Streaks that also have small rims with excellent results in wear, stability, and handling. Sorry to hear about your friend and his troubles.
