Well guys, I've been too busy to do much of anything but tonight I did install my LED turns and my Memphis Shades "Pop Top" windshield.

I really got tired of all the debris and didn't like the taste of most of the bugs (however, June Bugs are pretty tasty!) so I broke down and ordered the Memphis Shade Pop Top shield with quick disconnects.
Why Memphis Shades???

1. No tools for removal
2. Quick off and on bike (about 5 seconds!)
3. Big enough to break most of the wind and keep crap out of my teeth
4. Chose the 'smoked' to be more 'stealthy' and not detract too much from the bike.

What I don't like:
1. The fork mounts are rather large...larger than my Harley Low Rider
2. Installation is much easier if you are replacing the front lollypops. If not they have to be inverted

Also spent $35.00 and got LED turns for front and rear. Thanks RSS for the DIY on the front sigs. What a great help! The rear was purchased on E-bay for about $15.00 with 15 LED's in each and the front are Autozone at $20.00! I was more than relieved to get rid of those ugly Lollypops.

Here are pics. Comment if you will. Thanks to all for making this a worthwhile Forum.

Looks good painter and thanks for answering my question.I saw those turn signals at auto-zone and have thought about putting them on the front also. How bright are they?
Sorry but I lost this tread???? Turns are bright enough on the front and great on the back. 15 LED's in each rear turn lights it up pretty well. Front is not too bad either but the back is pretty important not to have a bumper up your butt!

I'm riding 250 miles tomorrow and will post how the MS performs. Actually been too busy to take her out since install. :(

I like the front signals. I would probably rather have the lolly pops then that windshield.
I would probably use it if I was going to ride for a few days straight. I would not leave it on my bike tho.
I would guess that is what your using it for. Longer trips?

I too would rather not have a windshield on this bike. However, after riding 250 miles yesterday I must say I'm impressed. No vibration and NO bugs in the teeth!:D

The looks aren't really that bad and for long trips I think it's great. Adjusted to where you look over the windshield about an inch or inch / 1/2 deflects over your head. Wind returns about 3-4 inches over the top on this Pop Top. This is Memphis Shades smallest shield and easy to install and REALLY easy to take off. 2 seconds and it's gone! :)

Still get wind on your body and felt very good. This, IMO, is more of a 'deflector' for those particles that hit you in the chest, face and head.

Riding with 11 Harleys yesterday, my bike was the one that got the most attention wherever we stopped! Not ONE bad comment on the shield! Let me repeat:::: NOT ONE BAD COMMENT! Most wondered why it took so long for me to get one!

WINDSHIELD:
1. Very easy install
2. VERY easy removal
3. Does the job without being totally lame in the looks dept.
4. Does have seemingly large 'quick release' brackets of lower quality
5. Cost is reasonable and less expensive than any others I found ($224)
6. Shield is sturdy
7. IMO it is great for longer trips or riding when weather is questionable (Raindrops feel like 22's sometimes)
8. Smoke is the way to go on the Fury. Graduated colors would be too obvious.

Yes, I would recommend this shield for those who are looking to avoid all the debris of the road. Glad I got it and will put it on for those long trips and possible rain days. :)
