A good starting point is to have it just low enough to see over the top when you are in a comfortable riding position and can see the highway in front of you. If you have too much head buffeting raise it up until you find the sweet spot. I never liked trying to look through the windscreen.

I put on the MS and it’s nice. Made a huge difference. Went out today for about 100 miles, nice scenic roads. 49 degree. where is the top supposed to be in regards to your head? I have it tilted back so it’s just above my eyes. I can lower it a bit. You can see how I have it in the photo View attachment 245622
As long as you are not getting wind buffeting on your helmet then it's more than likely the correct height.

thanks all. My plan is to have it off for just riding around but have it for highway. Its clear so looking through it was find after a while but Id rather not. The height i had it on gave me wind noise ( not sure if that will always be there ) and I could feel it on my helmet. Ill mess around with the height but in the cool weather it helped enough to deal with the stuff.

If I'm riding around town (slower speeds) I usually ride a half shell. If it's full highway speeds, full face with visor. You def get a bit of bobblehead depending on the wind, but these bikes, deflector or not, are hard to get rid of the wind. I don't really think the bike was designed with that in mind
