just bought some mirrors from demons cycle. look great completely useless as far a function though.
If you rotate them correctly, you can position them so that the sharp point extends over almost as far as the stock mirrors. That's what I did at leastjust bought some mirrors from demons cycle. look great completely useless as far a function though.
I will..... when I get a good pic. lolCome on Guy replace your bike pic with your current ride it"s cool we still like you...LOL........![]()
But for $34 bucks, who cares about safety? Here is a pic with my Demon Cycle mirrors. Took a while to get them positioned just right.

Try this. It'll allow the mirrors to be angled up more.I'm in the same boat. great looking aftermarket mirrors but worthless to see behind you. They are the drag specialties with a twisted stem. I'm 6'3. How tall are you? Mine seem to be maxed out on all the tilt the mirror can have. But I love the way they look.
Or if you don't wanna tear down the mirrors, you could always adjust the levers down a bit. Thats what I did on the right side, but it might not be enough for someone tall. I'm only 5'9"Wonderful advice. Thanks a ton!
You could loosen it and adjust accordingly. Before you tighten it turn the wheel all the way in each direction to prevent that from happening. If it's touching, just move it back a bitThought about it for just a quick second and then my bud and I went out riding and he had adjusted his for his mirrors and accidentally turning right to get out of the garage to go for the ride chipped the paint, dented the tank and I'm terrified to even risk it. I told him that this gave him an excuse for some custom paint work on the vtx 1800... he wasn't laughing!
I have another idea... What if you installed some little rubber o-rings or rubber washers on the pin that goes through the pegs? It might stiffen them up a little bit and be just enough for them to stay up yet still be able to pivot down when you want them to.I'll give them a try. I just installed all my xoprodox grips and pegs. Its a shame the passenger pegs won't stay upright when not in use. Then they hit the fender when flipping them up just to see if they will stay. Maybe a little more research before the c&c machines were started would've been nice.
