Any interest in keeping track of mod costs (both $ and time)? I realize that prices for everything is out there on the internet, but that's visiting a lot of sites. I would love to learn from what others have done by having a central list.

All I can contribute is:

MOD COST TIME
Corbin K&Q $545 (incl S&H) <30 minutes

(would have been even quicker, but I didn't have loctite, so did it twice and the seat wasn't quite bent enough, so I threaded it on without the spacer (but didn't tighten all the way) and drove it a few days to see if it would bend a little bit and then redid it with the spacer and tightened it hard, so it was about half an hour all in doing it three times)

Thanks for considering the idea! :)

Yea, we have all thought about starting this kind of thread, just never really got into it much I suppose... :p I also have a relative number in the FAQ, for about 3000$ (that's with all the chrome trimmings, pipes and little mods), the bike will be modded the way you want it to be, minus paint jobs or anything to do with the rims.

You bought the more expensive seat, so your number will be slightly higher of course. I'm just waiting to see who actually does this... some guy's may not let their wives or girlfriends see this post too... lol :p

Just for you, think this is all of them for me, now that I look at it.. think I'm done spending for a little while... lol  Thank goodness all labor was done by me... :D

I have thought about doing this, but I’m afraid it would make me sick. I know I have over 20k in it. Wife just upgraded her wedding ring to about what I have in the bike, now I’m free to spend a little more.:D

I don't see how you guys put 20k into the bike... the Sumo kit and rims around what about 7k for everything? Then I have 7.6k alone in mine and that's with a paint job...??

I may have to break it down. My cost includes labor also. We should also include all of the shipping of parts out to be worked on or exchange programs.
Yea, my cost is without labor (besides paint which is mostly labor costs) and I padded up some of the costs for trade secrecy :p... Most of my shipping was free too.. meh, guess I shopped around till I found free or next to free shipping though, I hate shipping costs... Still don't see the 20k... you guy's must be getting robbed on labor costs...!

Jesus you guys spent some serious coin already. My list is too short to even post LMAO. I put in about a grand maybe. I rather not keep track like I did with my Harley because it makes me sick and I rather not eat pork and beans for the next few months.
CB if your going to attempt the rear Tony Mod, I would like to be there for the finish and maybe during. If you need help I can be there. Then we can do mine :D

actually, im glad you brought this up! You got any friends who can do this mod that you trust? Ill toss him a couple bux. My friend ( yeah, some friend ) was supposed to get this done for me over a month ago ... and he keeps putting it off. He is a wrench head, and has built several Rat Rods, but for some reason he is hesitant to get this done.

The one problem with getting the Tony Mod done, i know ill have to get the Raw LED tail to the tune of $200 clams .. that will lead to new LEDs up front ... spending more money.LOL Oh well, you only go around once i guess.

The bulk of my list are things that had to be done. The forward controls ( no more sore knees ) .. the grips ( no more numb hands ) .. pipes ( you need these riding around NYC so as to be heard ). The other stuff is just bling that needs to be done.

I forgot to add my tool bag @ 25$

I'am having pork and beans tonight. And I don't have a Fury yet.
I like cutting up hot dogs and putting them in the beans. :D

Back to topic. I'm under $2,000.00 on mods and I'd really like to stay there. I can't even afford a can of pork & beans now. I am seriously short on cash. I'm broke and I'm done. My bike may be the closest to stock out of everyone in these forums, but I still love it. ;)

Exhaust, intake, fuel controller, foot pegs, turn signals, seat.... I think that's pretty much it. It doesn't cost anything to remove stickers and reflectors. :D

Oh crap, forgot about the damn helmets that I never wear! That may have put me over $2,000.00, but then they really aren't part of the bike I guess.
