I got my thunder baffles in the mail today while at work and haven't installed them yet. Are you guys running them in the stock cobra baffle screw hole or did you drill a new screw hole? It says a minimum of 3" from the end of the pipe, which the stock hole is, but they work and sound best at 6" or more. I am thinking I am going to drill a new hole at 6".

I think they are both running them off the Cobra screw hole. How is the fit inside the pipe? I had to grind down my modified Cobra baffle in order to be able to turn it inside the pipe to get the screw in.

What's your thought on them not that you have em'?

I am running mine in the stock position and with the washer toward the rear

Richard, I haven't had a chance to even put them in the pipe but they look very well made. I think I am going to drill a new hole at 6" and see how they sound hopefully tonight.

They recomend you go six inches up from stock hole.

Actually it's just 6" from the end of exhaust
