I heard from Mustang that they were tooling up for a Fury seat. It should be available mid to late summer. Having used their seats before, I look forward to a comfortable ride. I just hope it looks good!
Just going to be honest here for a second, you may like Mustang but I am going to say this again... I will not support Mustang. I wrote them asking about a Fury seat and they blatantly told me No, they will not support the Fury, this was back in Oct of 09. Seeing as the bike is gaining more popularity, they are jumping on the band wagon... Sorry, but for a reputable company, being a year and a half out on a motorcycle seat is ridiculous...

I talked to them last Aug/Sept (can't exactly remember) and got basically the same answer: no plans to make a Fury seat. I left my email address with them (all this was done by phone) with instructions to email me if they changed their mind.
Looks like they did change their mind and added it to their line-up. Better late than never, I say. There are many more companies not yet making products for the Fury. My strategy is to call and let them know there is a market for their products. I don't know how many calls it'll take - 10, 20, 100? But the better companies will be keeping track of the requests and will market a product accordingly.

Mustang was keeping track, as evidenced by their email to me. They perceived a market and have taken steps to meet it. For that, I give them a big THUMBS UP! I hope they can produce a comfortable and good-looking saddle.

BTW - Mustang never did offer a seat for the Wing. I always thought that was strange, but there were a lot of other companies in that market. I guess they thought it was too crowded for a good return on their investment.

I'll let you know how it rides when I get one.

Exactly why I support C&C... ;) Pretty sure all of our orders are bogging them down, but I'm pretty sure they know our seat very well now...

Not skurd of Mustang... Don't like them anyways (I wanted to,that's why I wrote them)... If they would have said, they were looking into it or something less narrow minded, sure would support them... but again, they blatantly said they weren't looking into it, so they can take their seat and shove it wear the seat don't shine...

I just had my seats done by Rich's in Kingston washington. He custom fits it to the rider and I must say it is awsome. He reworked my wifes seat and didn't loose the lines of the bike. We rode 100 miles on a coast road and it was a walk in the park.
When I get the bike the way I want it I will post pictures.
So far just a few custom parts and an Irate radiator cover.
Next stop to the old Hotrod pin striper. The reflectors came off with a hair dryer and 1 cup of coffee.

I've heard Mustang produces some very comfortable seats, but from what I've heard, they shouldn't be any better than C&C. Too late anyway....ordered my C&C seat a week ago. I am interested to see what the Mustang will look like.

Where the heck is it????!!!!!!
Patience, my friend....:D They are swamped with orders. They told me 2.5 weeks. Believe me, I'm very anxious to get this seat on my bike, especially after the 200 mile ride on Saturday. Oh, the pain in the ass....:( I sat on my buddies HD and his seat is so wide and plush. It was instant comfort. Of course too wide to look good on the Fury.

Today I received the following email from Mustang:

Fury Owners,

Today, we have an update for you. The new Mustang seats that will be made to fit the Honda Fury will be available with a built-in passenger backrest, similar to the well-known Mustang driver backrest. This new offering will also be able to be switched to the slot in the driver's seat when needed. This type of passenger backrest is a new venture for Mustang and the Fury is the first seat that will have it.
More info to follow when available.

......and I wonder when it will become available. I sure wish they hadn't of waited so long. It would've been nice to have another seat to choose from before I ordered the C&C. Hopefully, the C&C seat will turn out to be as good as what everyone is saying. :)
