YES. I made my run down to Butte and Picked it up!! FINALLY!! Most of you know the roller coaster ride I was on so to speak to get this darn thing and I got the one I want and I saved a bunch of cash by buying states side.
So as soon as I got to the dealership, Dean (the salesman I was dealing with), shook my hand right away, as he knew I would be the only guy pulling up at 9am with Alberta plates on my truck. He was just clearing out the shop and moving my bike outside. He said to me "hey, would you like to take it for a spin...it is your bike after all!". This took me a bit by surprise because those clowns here in calgary would only let me sit on the bike....heaven forbid we could take one for a test ride! .... jerks!. So of course I will take it for a spin while he gets the paperwork done. I asked if I could borrow a helmet. There is no helmet law in Montana...
, even better. So here I go in my flip flops, shorts and a hoodie cruising through town on my new bike. WOW, what a ride. Smoother than I thought it would be. Rides WAY better than my boulevard. I don't think at this point you could kick the grin off my face
As I pulled back up to the dealership, my eyes are watering a bit because I wasn't wearing any glasses/sunglasses and Dean asked me how the ride was. "I think I am in love" I replied. Dean said "yea, I can see that by the tears in your eyes" hahaha
Unfortunately as soon as I got the bike home I had to jump off to work for about a week or so. But as soon as I get home I will be elbows deep in mods, as I already have everything to put on the bike.
My next post will be of pics with it all pimped out you can count on that!!!
