I just order some engine case chrome covers, I've been looking at the the guys photos on here and they look great. I ordered Kuryakyn full set, should look pretty cool.

I was always curious, don't water get caught under these covers and just sit there.

That's a good place to start. What are you going to do for pipes?

I thought about getting some, but then I'd have to chrome the wheels....

My mechanic has a saying: "Chrome won't get ya' home." :D

I haven't got a mechanic.:( Heck, my fury was the first one the mechanic in Hattiesburg had worked on....made me a little nervous when he got the manual out. That shop is deader than a doornail.

The egine gets warm enough to evaporate any moisture that might get behind them, but as Richard said ive never had a problem.

I had the reflectors removed at the dealer even before I picked it up :D. I have been looking at pipes, the Cobra chrome slash downs look awesome. I need to do more research, do I need a programmer, will my leg get hot, how loud? They really make the bike look killer though!!

From what i have seen with other bikes, and heard about on here, cobra is one of the quieter MFG's for pipes. I would check out the sampson warlords too. For a programmer, If your doing pipes and leaving baffles in you can usually get away with no programmer, but your bike will run a bit lean. If your planning on doing any other mods you will need a programmer reguardless, so might as well get it (your pipes are more prone to heating up alot where discolorations are easier without the programmer). In stopped traffic for extended periods of time your leg will get somewhat toasty though.
This is one of my favorite Mods. When I drive my bike to the Honda dealership they always say hands down my is the best fury they have ever seen. Then came the turn signal up grade. Try the Kury deep dish bezels with smoked lenses. It's an easy one that won't break the bank. Also Deamon Cycle has Reaper mirrors reg. 200 on sale for 34 delivered. Awsome quality! If you are interested in any other of my mods, PM and I will point you in the rights direction.

Read RSS's FAQ.it's the top link of the forum.
it has tons of stuff related to pipes, sounds, fitment, etc.

I have the slashdowns with the baffles removed. They are plenty loud for me,they do get warm if your sitting at a red light or in traffic but not unbearable.Have to agree,,,they do look killer.:D

Great Find! Just ordered these
Chrome Billet Mirrors (Z) for Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, BMW, Ducati any metric

Thanks for the tip.
i bought these a couple weeks ago. They really set off the bike IMO. There is a how to here where another owner had cut a tiny slit in the back to get them to pivot up for better view.
Actually you don't have to cut a slit in the back of the mirror to give you a better look at the road. All you need to do is lossen the handle bar clamps to the brake and clutch lever and angle them down about a half inch or so. You will not even notice a difference . If any thing you will like adjustmant better. Speaking of handle bar clamps, you should also check out Moto-Tour inc. They have some beautiful chrome clamps with new chrome allen wrench bolts to go with it. They go great next to the chrome swith housings...next to the chrome and black grips.
