That's a good place to start. What are you going to do for pipes?I just order some engine case chrome covers, I've been looking at the the guys photos on here and they look great. I ordered Kuryakyn full set, should look pretty cool.
Never had a problem.I was always curious, don't water get caught under these covers and just sit there.
I thought about getting some, but then I'd have to chrome the wheels....I just order some engine case chrome covers, I've been looking at the the guys photos on here and they look great. I ordered Kuryakyn full set, should look pretty cool.

Congrats on breaking the Mod. seal, but -1 for the covers. Need to do reflectors and exhaust. then it starts getting goodI just order some engine case chrome covers, I've been looking at the the guys photos on here and they look great. I ordered Kuryakyn full set, should look pretty cool.

From what i have seen with other bikes, and heard about on here, cobra is one of the quieter MFG's for pipes. I would check out the sampson warlords too. For a programmer, If your doing pipes and leaving baffles in you can usually get away with no programmer, but your bike will run a bit lean. If your planning on doing any other mods you will need a programmer reguardless, so might as well get it (your pipes are more prone to heating up alot where discolorations are easier without the programmer). In stopped traffic for extended periods of time your leg will get somewhat toasty though.I had the reflectors removed at the dealer even before I picked it up. I have been looking at pipes, the Cobra chrome slash downs look awesome. I need to do more research, do I need a programmer, will my leg get hot, how loud? They really make the bike look killer though!!

I have the slashdowns with the baffles removed. They are plenty loud for me,they do get warm if your sitting at a red light or in traffic but not unbearable.Have to agree,,,they do look killer.I had the reflectors removed at the dealer even before I picked it up.
