Another jealous harley rider!

This piece of crap runs like a dog, When it hits 40mph it cuts out and dies. Do any of you fury riders have this problem?? pc of crap!!
I would be willing to bet this guy doesn't even own a damn Fury! Just another jealous hater that wants to stop in and bash a great bike. "SO WHAT, YOUR FURY DOESNT GO FASTER THE 40MPH IN FIRST GEAR, THEN SHIFT INTO SECOND GEAR"! HOW DAMN FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO IN FIRST GEAR ANYWAY"????

XxPatman77, I am with you. He probably does not own a Fury. If he does he really needs to think about calling the warranty dept, or like you said shift the damn thing into second gear! Hate only motivates a Fury owner!

Trust me! This is a Harley guy stopping in just because he's upset that he got stuck with unreliable craper and should have bought a Fury. Yeah, I was pretty upset to find out that I couldn't do 80 in first gear too, "SO I STARTED SHIFTING INTO SECOND"!

I am just hitting 4,000 miles on my Fury and never had it shut down while underway. It sounds like what the others are saying... you need to try shifting into ty next gear. Also if that is the issue at hand then perhaps you should attend a beginners rider course. And take baby steps in an empty parking lot untill you get a better grasp on how to opperate a motorcycly before riding on public roadways.

Be safe

Pull the plugs and see what they look like...They should be a light chocolate
color-if the plugs are ok then it could be a fuel delivery problem...I've not
had any problems with my fury but stuff happens....get ahold of your dealer
and good luck to ya.....

You know folks, at face value FURY HATER isn't using his Harvard education to best advantage but if you stop and look at this from a different angle his single post is brilliant because everyone is taking the bait and, if I may take a neutral stance, looking like fools. Just start over from the beginning as I just did and look at our responses. At first they seem funny but with so much repetition they become beyond silly and actually sink beneath the embarrassing low benchmark set by the originator (whoever he may be) of this thread.
Very well said and very well observed. Gar, you are a brilliant individual. Sounds like you've nailed it to me.

i agree with gar and fwiw, if you wanna go fast in first gear, buy a 2005 kawasaki ninja zx10r. my shift light comes on at 105mph in first gear. then i have 5 more to go.... :D the fury keeps me out of trouble.
