Yep... I rode it twice and sence i do custom airbrushing on the side from my Law Enforcement job, I have already tour it apart and am custom airbrushing it... The stock fury look is clean but just screams for custom airbrushing!

If any one is interested in sum custom art on their fury, i do it on the side so dont charge body shop prices, but have 14 years behind the brush.

I'm currently letting the clear dry, but i'll have pics up by tomorrow of the starter sketch and the finished paint job for people to see.

PS... Anyone hitting up Myrtle Beach, SC for Bike Week May 9-16???

I thought you guys stopped bike week a few years back or am I thinking about black bike week? I have a friend thats VA Beach PD and he emailed me the bikers tore the city all to hell and there wouldn't be another one like 5-6 years ago? I know the harley one still goes on but the other was for sport bikes and metric bikes. I know my MC is coming down there but not until after our May 22nd break out.

snuff,,Myrtle beach doesnt do Bike weeks anymore,,there done down near the grand strand, its called the Spring Rally now. and some moved there stuff to Newbern NC, all I can say is those of you wanting to cruise without helmuts in Myrtle,,forget it, the Mayor wont allow it , u must have one or get fined and a ticket. Black Bike week is more towards the end of May.

ahhhh thanks wildbill. I thought the helmet was only required if under 21? The city itself changed that?

Easy E... What agency do you work for? I'm a cop here in Troy, Montgomery County. We are about 45 min south of Greensboro. I'd love to see your pics when you get em up.

OK... Here is the low down on Myrtle Beach. the Central City of MB has been enforcing a helmet law (which is being fought in the courts). This does not apply to south and north Myrtle Beach. I ride protected any way so that doesnt bother me. I'm sure the addition of this enforcement is to lesson the attendance of the latter 'crotch rocket' crowd sence it was fact the most complaints came from that crowd. I'm not going to label as white and black bike weeks like some do because i'm not that single minded and have friends of all colors. I've been the past two years and have had a great time! Perhaps because I use common sense. I know a few 'badges' there and they are not 'dicks' and dont realy enforce loud pipes, etc... they right tickets for 'stupidity'and he is usual ones that comes back complaining. Let me define 'stupidity' fo a second -DUIs, ones doing burn outs and/or sitting at a light reving up with their buddys for no good reason and didnt see the unmarked Police SUV two cars back.

Second - Most vendors and the crowd are in North Myrtle Beach and South Myrtle Beach. They did take down the Pavilion, but Ocean BLVD. Is still open to cruise (with a helmet) and I do so at least once or twice. They do shut it down after midnight though and maybe to some that sucks, but by midnight my bike is parked and if im out having a few drinks, im usualy taking a cab or the woman is driving our truck and me back to the condo.

Third - I'm buffing the clear out on te recent pant job and should have pics up latter today.

Fouth - I live/work in Rowan County (north of Concord, NC)

Easy E cant wait to see the work, Im searching off and on for a new front fender so i can better fit it to the bike and probably chop the front a little. also want a spare tank so i can keep riding my bike. If i feel like taking it outa comission ever for a slightly extended period of time I will let you or painter know.

LOL last time I was at Myrtle, when I was still a cop, I remember a group of about 5 crotch rockets getting busted for wheelies and didn't notice the little golf cart police car going up the sidewalk. At the next stop the golf cart came up behind them and the officers got out and surprised the shit out of them. I was laughing my ass off.

Easy, that's nice to know we have someone like you with your talent for art work on board. I sure a lot of members including me will be interested in seeing your work for future their own futre project.
I like the fall rally in myrtle beach in October. A lot of vendors come there and set up camp and its like a big flea market on every corner filled with bike accessories. They have put a lot of restriction within the city limits of myrtle beach and you really have to know where the city limits are if your going to be riding around without a helmet or load pipes.

Paint job is Done!

Sorry for the 2 day delay, but my paint job is done... took a little longer to buff it out to a mirror finish than i thought. Check out the pics... My price to paint this for a customer would be about $900-1000 for tank and fenders with 2 coast of clear.
