Last night installed a side mount license plate bracket. I also installed 2 LED license plate bolts. Now the running lights on the turnsignals do not come on. The turn signal on the back do work. The running lights and turn signals on the front work correctly.

Here is what I did.

1. installed bracket and LEDS
2. Ran hot and ground under swing arm and up through the rear fender
3. Cut wires running to the old license plate light (brown and green w brown tracers)
4. Connected the hot from the LEDs to the brown
5. Connected the ground from LEDs to green w brown tracers

THe LEDS work, the brake light running light works, the brake light works, the rear turn signals work.

The rear turnsignal running lights do NOT work.

???

My rear turn signals never worked as running lights... I dont think any state required them to work as running lights. Sounds like a mute point if i understand you correctly...

They don't. I got a conversion kit from Electrical Connection that has my rear signal lights burning all the time (amber) and when I hit the brakes, the signal lights change from amber to red brake lights as well. I live in the sticks and need as much nighttime illumination as possible.

watch some of your laws with that, some states require red burns all the time. With Run/Brake/Turn kits usually they supply red lenses

My bad, they run red all the time and blink amber.....I have the Kury smoked lenses....the kit provides an led donut that attaches to the lense and burns red...then when the signal is activated, the donut turns off when the amber bulb from the signal comes on, etc....

yeah, I got the running lites mod, too. So, I'm confirming: the OEM Fury does not have rear running lights unless you are willing to pay for the mod.
