I installed a Harddrive analog tach to replace the digital tach I had.
It has a incandescent bulb that is replaceable. Gonna remove the clear one and see if I can find a Red one.
It's a auto dash light bulb I believe. It bounces about 100RPM's above & below . I may try a Resistor or Capacitor in the signal wire to try and smooth it out.

What is the diameter of that? It looks about the size of the side mount speedometer housings I make.

I much prefer analog over digital for a tach. I've thought about putting one on my bike but decided against it because I think a minimal set up is more chopperish.
