got the new cobra pipes on sounds great but I noticed a light ping sound about every 5 sec or so when sitting at a light I figured it was the pipes breaking in from the heat any comments?

Yes it should disappear after a few rides

When i put my Cobras on I noticed the same thing. I think its just a break-in noise. It went away after a few rides. Did you get the Sweeps?

I had it too and after removing baffles I can't hear anything so must have been break in

You might also notice that similar noise after shutting the engine of after a ride. The pipes will make some noise from expansion and contraction from heat and cooling down of the metal. Snuff is right and you will probably notice less when the baffles are out due to less restriction.

Thanks for the input I figured it was probably a breakin thing but never hurts to check what others run into, I got the swepts what an improvement over the stock pipes!
