How is everyone, I am a brand new owner of an all black fury. I am hoping some people can help me. I know I should hit the search button, but right now just to lazy and I really don't know a lot about bikes. Anyway, if I get the cobra pipes do I need to get a power commander? If so, how hard is it to install. Thank you all, and I hope to have pictures up soon.

The answer to your question is no, you don't have to get a power cammander. And welcome.

Hey 460, I envy you! I last lived in Manassas and would take some drives (car) up to the mountains sometimes.....I worked in DC so I had an '82 650 Nighthawk for the DC/beltway traffic....never took it up to the mountains.

Hey thanks everyone for your welcomes and answers, I am in the military stationed at Fort Eustis, VA. Have not had time to find any good roads but I will look up the roads you all have talked about.

I bought Cobra pipes took about 1 hour to install and the computer on the bike took care of the rest. Have put about 600 miles on it since installing them. Runs better with more power. I also removed the baffles. Took it to a honda dealer to make sure everything was ok and they said it was.
