hello everyone, well i have been a returning guest like everyday for the past 6 months looking at bikes for sale and your pictures and stuff so i figured i would go ahead and become a member of the forum. I love this bike and plan on getting one in march. I am receiving my bonus from my work in march and as soon as i see it in the bank, i will be either on ebay or here or craigslist or somewhere looking for my fury. I dont think this bike gets the respect it deserves from reading some posts on other forums and stuff. there is a nice red one on ebay right now i could get for around 9200 but i wont have my cash until march as i said. A few things that i would immediately get those cobra swept pipes, chrome the wheels, remove the rear markers, do the taillight mod and maybe a new air filter.
I am a army veteran of 3 years active duty. I was in the 82nd airborne division with 47 jumps and 1 jump in iraq. I also served 2 tours of duty.
I have looked at the fury since when it first came out last year and it didnt really seal the deal online. But i noticed one at a gas station driving by and immediately stopped and asked questions. It is alot bigger in person.
right now im leaning towards the silver color, but i will see once my bank account fills up and whats available for the best price.
i know long first post, but im excited and the next 2 months of waiting is gonna be long, but should be worth it!. I have done many personal opinion comparisons and i am really likeing the fury over alot of other bikes around the same price range.
hope to ride with some of you someday!.
im in southern indiana right along the ohio river in a little town called vevay but make alot of trips to kentucky and ohio.
