Good evening all,

New member here. Recently picked up a 2010 Honda Fury, after being away from motorcycles for a couple years.

Started riding back in 2010, mostly metric cruisers and sport bikes, then briefly had a Harley Nightster 1200 as my last bike.

Always had a fondness for Hondas, as I drive their cars almost exclusively.

I had just started riding when the Fury came out and remember telling myself “one day I’m gonna get one of those”. Well that day was last Friday.

Pretty happy with the Fury I picked up. 30K miles and completely stock, except for the cobra pipes. Don’t plan on any major mods, just gonna cruise and hopefully fall back in love with riding again.

A little about me: originally from Kansas. Moved to Dallas, TX about 10 years ago for work. I’m a regional controller for a waste transportation company. Single, no kids.

Well not as stock as you think. The wheels don't come chromed and blue is the best colour.

Welcome from Sydney.

I’m sorry for this but I just noticed your profile pic……. They shouldn’t have even been in the big game! 😡 that was a total fix job by the NFL to get their new “golden boy” another ring… a manufactured ring! Both the AFC championship and Bowl played out exactly as I thought it would…. I’m very very disappointed with the NFL, since they went to the “real time” communication with on field refs the game has lost something. Anyway, in my eyes they lost before they even got to the Super Bowl sooooo 😂🤣😂 ok there’s my rant. Oh and the halftime show sucked moose balls!

I did say I was from Kansas lol. I might live in Dallas but theres no way in hell I’ll ever root for the cowboys. I’m also a Steelers fan since my dad is from Pittsburgh.

And I agree, the half time show was one of the worst but I enjoyed the outcome. It was scripted, remember?

Guess I will add some pics of my old bikes. Kinda makes me reminisce. The Fury is by far my favorite so far.

My first bike: 2005 Honda Shadow Spirit 750

2nd Bike: 2003 Yamaha V Star 650

3rd Bike: 1971 Suzuki T350 (I went through a cafe racer phase but quickly learned to hate kick starters and old two strokes, I did learn how to re-built carbs though...)

4th Bike: 2003 Suzuki GSXR 750. This was a hell of a motorcycle and extremely fast. Miss this one but also don't miss it since it was extremely powerful. Can only imagine what a Hyabusa would have felt like.

5th Bike: 2009 Suzuki GSX650F. Much more of a cruiser style sport bike. Enjoyed this one as well

6th Bike: 2009 Harley Nightster 1200 (bobber style). This motorcycle was a huge pile of shit and I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Leaked all kinds of fluids and my step-dad, who drove Harleys when I was a kid, just laughed and laughed about all the maintenance (I think he knew something I didn't)

So after I sold my Harley, I got back into Jeeps and rock crawling, which was my passion since high school and what I did before I got into motorcycles. Of the 17 jeeps I have owned, the last two were my favorites and nicely built. Of course, having rock crawlers forced me to buy a diesel truck and trailer since all I did was break shit.

2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Built this jeep completely from stock and wheeled the shit out of it for 3 years. Took it to Moab, Utah three times, rolled it, rebuilt it and finally sold it in 2019.

2000 Jeep Wrangler. This one was my last one and was a huge money pit. It would do everything offroad through, which was always fun. Sold it last fall, along with my Ram diesel and trailer. Now I just drive a Honda Civic and my Fury. Life is much simpler now. I am sure I will get another Jeep one day but I am over it for now...

Blah, blah, blah..........if you're favorite team had gone to the SB and won, you'd not be talking all this conspiracy nonsense.

What half time show? I pushed the mute button and went to finish my laundry. I did hear about it from other people though. I guess it was a big steaming load of crap which is what I expected and why I chose to ignore it.

Don't listen to him. The Chiefs finally have a good team and I'm actually enjoying watching them play.

Super bowl IMO has just turned into a glorified Pro Bowl.

They both suck. Haven't really followed football at all because it's just not entertaining anymore. Always have been a much bigger hockey fan.

Smart man. From what I hear you were correct, the half time show was one of the worst.
