Hey guys, i just picked up my fury today! I only have a couple questions...for now..lol First thing is does anybody else notice a low hum when they apply the front brakes??? I thought it was me @ first but it`s driving me crazy!!! Is it just the front brakes seating in or just the nature of the brakes??? An does anyone make a tach for these bikes cause in having a hard time figuring out when to shift an i like to know what the engines doing...don`t want to lug it down an i don`t want to over rev it. Anyways i`ve only put about 40 miles on it so far...still learning the bike an all the quirks it has. Over all i like the bike, it sure does get a LOT of looks from other bikers an it`s already been called a harley more than once...LOL

Welcome. Congrats on a Blue. Hum could be pads seating in. If constant check left head cover, may have to use tape under. Bike has rev limiter, so don't worry about over revving. Up to 42 in first- 60 in second, just winder out. Tack don't know, nobody is running one that I know of. Get used to bike and visit thread FAQ which is a wealth of info on bike- By Redspawn Silver. Are you sure they were not calling you Harley. Congrats again- Gotta go!

Thanks for the welcome guys! I put about 100 miles on it this morning an the front brake noise seems like it`s getting quitter. Over all i love the bike. I`m still getting used to the "chopper" style of riding...i did some searching on here about the tach thing an found a couple posts about it....o well it`s not a sport bike an i know it wasn`t built for speed so i`m not to concerned about it. An NO they wasn`t calling me harley..LOL

The brakes always rub, so they will always make that noise... reminds me, need to put this into the FAQ.

Welcome, Always good to see another blue. beautiful color on these bikes. as for the brake noise, mine makes some noise as well and i think it's just because it's seating and wearing into position. granted i only have 52 miles on mine as of right now. i agree about the engine revs. i wouldn't need a tach though, just louder pipes to hear the engine.

Yeah, a fury an a buell are at opposite ends of the spectrum, but i`m getting older an i wanted something that i could ride on long trips an not feel like i`ve been beat w/ a bat. I still get the Buell out an straighten out some curves on the weekends!!!....i kinda have the best of both worlds at my disposal..lol
