Got my new shield. It comes off really quick if needed and also adjust really easy if I want it a lil bit higher for highway travel. At lowest setting i get wind from neck up and highest, i get wind about an inch above my eyes.

I know the reflectors are still on, but the fishing line i bought is not strong enough and keeps breaking. I'll have to get some that is stronger.

Looks good at the angled position, definitely an option for those that hate the wind sometimes and the bugs, especially this time of the year...!

I hate bugs like everyone else. I just can't wrap my arms around a windshield on a "chopper" styled bike. Is it just me? I do agree with the logic behind it however. I'm speaking strictly about looks here. Feedback????
I'm with ya'. I've been eating bugs for a long time now just because I can't stand the looks of a windscreen, but I'm starting to give in. I don't even wear my full face helmet and that was supposed to take the place of a windscreen. I guess I'm just a hardcore purist. :D However, if it does have that quick release option.......ah.....I just can't do it. Apparently I haven't had enough bugs smack into my bare forehead yet. :(

I agree that I wouldn't put a "stay on" shield on but this one is quick release and it's fairly small so that's what has me thinking about getting one.

This one doesn't really look that bad, and like you said, it is quick release. As much as I hate the idea, I am still kinda' considering it.....but only for long trips maybe.

Three things I won't do: ride in the back of a bike, wear a full helmet, and put a windshield on the Fury! My .02.
I know...I feel like I wasted my money on the full face helmet, but when I used to wear one, I got so much satisfaction out of seeing those damn bugs splatter on the face shield. "Take that, you bastards!" Then of course, you have to clean them off, but it's either that, or clean them off of my sunglasses and my face. I will probably forget about the windscreen and start wearing the damn helmet, as much as I hate the way it looks and feels......but again, only for long journeys.

Although I would put a windshield on my bike this isn't a bad option for others. I used to have this very windshield that came on on a Honda vtx I owned and it didn't look half bad on the bike and it did conveniently come on and off in seconds.

Well the reason that I was thinking about one was not to just keep the bugs off my face, but to keep some of that wind off of me and from beating me up when I'm riding down the highway. Granted I didn't get a lot of miles in after I got my bike, but I did take a small trip and it was mostly highway and the wind just beat the crap out of me so it would be nice to have something to deflect some of that wind, and it's detachable because that's important also so I can take it off when cruising around town.
