I always wondered if I could get away with something like that...might get really tempted to use it...

Ya, it's legal here in Nevada, and I would imagine anywhere else where "open-carry" is legal.

Yeah, open carry is also legal in Ohio, but good luck not getting pulled over every 28 ft by every city kitty, county mountie, bear and diesel bear in the state lol.

[Oops; scratch the diesel bears; no authority when it comes to motorcycles. But trust me you wouldn't get far with it.] Now that Ohio finally has a carry law instead of that asinine 'Prudent man' statute, yer better to just a conceal permit and keep it outta site. Imho, of course.

I need a new seat; whatdaya' think?

Cheers
I'm not sure where you got this photo but I think I saw this bike last October parked a Harley dealership in Myrtle beach during the fall bike rally. I wish you had more photos to confirm it to be the same bike but if it is it was one cool looking bike with a lot of detail on it. I must have spent an hour looking at it. Not sure if its the same bike but the seat along with the paint that's posted sure does look like it. If you got any more photos can you post them.

Sorry Dave (and the rest of you guys), but that's the only pic I have. It was sent to me by a riding buddy, and he got it from another buddy, etc, etc. Sounds to me, Dave, like you know more about it than any of the rest of us. I'm going to take the pic over to a saddle-maker that I know here in town and see what he says about making one like it.

Cheers

Looks real to me

No one can say with 100% certainty just from a digitized pic, but as a range officer and NRA-certified instructor in pistol (basic pistol, personal protection, home defense) I own quite a few revolvers in a variety of finishes, and have fired and handled many, many more over the last 22 years. I'd be very surprised if that wasn't a real firearm. Just too much authenticity in the grip, grip screws, backstrap and the rear sections of the frame that are visible. And the shells in the belt are dull the way real brass dulls after awhile out of the box. Could just be a faithful reproduction or one hell of a realistic water gun of course, but I'm doubtin' it ...

As a police officer, I can tell you that there are a lot of extremely realistic replicas out there. If that one is a replica, it is realistic enough to justify shooting you if you pull it on someone.

Ya, it'd better have a red plastic plug on the barrel, although you don't see many of those up here in Nevada; the Old West and all that, you know. LOL.
