My wheelie days are far behind me. Lol. I needed some capacity for a little motocamping gear and those bags seemed like a good idea. I don’t like having to ride with a backpack if it can be avoided. You are right about having to be aware of the weight when I do pack up for a trip.By the looks of that load on the back, wheelies are fairly easy.
It’s a homemade bar. It definitely looks better from a distance but it serves the purpose well. The prices on accessories are absurd.Welcome from Pennsylvania! That’s some sissy bar!
Welcome from 0z Richard 👍
Welcome, again from Oz.
That's because Stephen's is an actual Oz, (O z), where Red's is 0z, (zero z).Your "Oz" is fatter.
Well my excuse is we just finished the lunar new year celebrations and I was forced to eat all that delicious food. Plus my middle daughter took a week off to go and visit her maternal grandparents in Singapore and she brought back a suitcase full of snacks and all kinds of goodies you can't easily get or are crazy expensive in Oz. BTW I'm not exaggerating about a suitcase full of food, she bought a cheap suitcase in Singapore to bring all the food back. (a trick she learnt from her mum)Your "Oz" is fatter.
It can be a long haul bike, at least for a weekend. I strapped a duffle bag to the back of mine and rode across a couple of states with no problem at all. Sure, it's not a touring bike like a Gold Wing, but it was still pretty comfortable for me when I was younger and healthier. Even the guys on the big bikes wanted to stop every hundred miles so it worked out fine.Thank you for the warm welcome. I’m enjoying looking at all of the pictures everyone has posted. Those Furys are some nice looking bikes. It’s definitely not a long haul bike but I’m very happy with it as is. The ride isn’t half bad and it’s got plenty of power. I certainly enjoy the rides on country roads.
