Welcome to the site brother! Glad to have you!

Hope you enjoy all the info here, there are some others that are in the same situation as you, hopefully they will drop by and describe what they did to overcome the bungs.

Are those O2 sensors, and if they are, are they really necessary for the engine to run properly? Are they just EPA junk, or what? Just curious since ours do not have them.

Welcome, wigoh!

Those are 02 bungs. I have been working with the Aussie guys and the Scot to obtain info on aftermarket pipes. It seems that you don't need those, just standard aftermarket pipes and fuel controller. You will have to install a couple of 330omh 1v resistors to 02 wires so ECM does not override FI,FC. All info from non proffesionals. However Doug from Fuggin is a proffesional and is doing test in Aussie land now for correct configuration. Just have to wait a bit! Welcome and Cheers Matie!!:D

Welcome. Yes we have the o2 sensors on our pipes in Australia. I think Cobra have or are working on pipes for bikes with o2 sensors as they are the only brand available here. Crazy money though about AU $1550.

Keep us up to date on how you are progressing with your bike. Pipes are at the top of the list as far as first things to do. While you’re sitting around waiting on pipes, now is a good time to get started on those reflectors and stickers. :D

pipes

Hi wigoh,
imported mine from the lads at HONDA EAST TOLEDO back in september last year,
best and cheapest way to help the pipes along is to drill a 25mm hole in the blanking plates on your exausts,(obviously in the center) but dont go in too far, you've got about 3 inches after the plates before you hit the cats (try shoving something up the holes you'll see what i mean) they sound much better, only thing is you have to run it on super unleaded, the bike loves it, and you do get a cpl of extra mpg to offset the cost also.
it's worth a try before you go spending a few hundred quid on pipes and power comander.

cheers binko.
